It's about 25 miles, with good road links. Are you asking this question because you are relocating there, and perhaps your job is in Newcastle? If that is the case, just be sure to never EVER mention the monkey!!

about 30 miles.....or about half an hour down the A19...but don't go to any fancy dress party dressed as a monkey because they will hang you....the monkey hangers..don't call them this, they don't like it
