I'm a US citizen and I'd like to take a trip to visit some friends, one in Lebanon and another in Israel. I know you can't directly travel between the countries, but is it possible to go Lebanon -> somewhere -> Israel? Or are there restrictions on going to Israel with a Lebanese stamp in your passport? (I've heard you can't go to Lebanon with an Israeli stamp.)

I have to exit the U.S due to my visa reason, however I can't go to Canada and Mexico(including small islands in Mexico).
Any recommendation??

We would like to know if there is a shuttle service or taxi transportation between Rio De Janeiro International Airport and Martinique Copa Hotel
on Copacabana Beach. There is nothing mentioned on the Hotel website, and there isn't information on the Brazil Tourist websire either, other than hiring a car driver is unsafe because of the poor roads and drivers. We would specifically like a bus/shuttle to and from the airport and hotel if anyone can give us the information on this.

My daughter wants to go to Ireland as a graduation gift. I want to take her but I am leery about traveling outside U.S. I would like to educate ourselve as much as possible but I'm sure it wont compare to your answers as you are the experts of your own country. We would arrive in Dublin. She wants to visit Cork, I believe. Some say that hostels are very obnoxious, and others say you can actually stay with local folks. How would one go about this? Okay, for a few days of my Christmas vacation, me and my mom are either going to go to New York or LA. (We live in Chicago) I want to go to NY because it will be beautiful around Christmas time. But the thing is that we will fly there, but we will have to stay with my mom's friend. I really don't want to stay with my mom's friend, and I want to stay in a hotel because I like staying in a Hotel during vacations where I fly, because if feels more like a vacation. I don't go on a whole lot of vacations. I want to go to LA because it may be a little bit warmer, but it won't feel as happy and all like a Holiday season. But we probably will stay in a hotel. What should I do?
