I have met many many Korean stars, as I am one of the few white guys over here that can speak Korean. I've even done a rap with the group Koyote at a soldier appreciation concert in Pyoungtaek. Many girls really are attractive, but don't be fooled, they wear *a lot* of makeup on stage, and the guys do too.
Believe it or not, a lot of Korean stars enjoy coming on miltary bases, like Yongsan Garrison, because they actually get some privacy. I can't describe for you the suprise I experienced when I saw a famous drama actress eating a Philly Cheesesteak at Greenstreet right next to me on post. The funny thing was, I think I was the only one to reciognize her.

If you go Ap-Goo-Jung in Seoul you can see them on the street or pub. OR in Hyundae department store. I've seen quite many of them when I shopping.
But remember, if you make fuss about it when you see them, you need to ready to be embarrassed. Be nonchalant.
