I'm visiting my sister's new in-laws in Hilo and Honolulu. I want to bring them gifts from the Bay Area that they can't really get there in Hawaii. I am 18 years old and am going to Quebec. I know that I technically cannot bring alcohol back into the US b/c i'm not 21, but if my car is searched at the border, what are the consequeces if they find it? Do the customs officials actually cite/fine/bring charges on you, or do they just confiscate it and send you on your way? I obviously can't declare it, so if they find it, could they fine me because I didn't declare it also?

I heard that there's lots of tiger shows in Bangkok & Pattaya (right in the city centre no less). Isn't that dangerous? I mean what if one escapes? Surely if you want to see such shows, the zoo or circus is the placewhere you can watch insafety.
