Travel - 22 November 2006

I have 3 free nights to a hotel in cancun, right on the beach. I have to use these nights up by the end of this year. Due to the time constraint. I have no one to go with. Would it be weird if I go alone during the first week of December? What would I be able to do there alone? How can I meet people?

Next month, my husband and I are visiting family in Friendswood, near Houston. We want to experience some real Texas scenery and/or even just an authentic restuarant. Any ideas of where to go during our drive to San Antonio, or even while we're in San Antonio? Last time we went there, we were taken out to Ruth's Chris Steak house, a real disappointment since we were visiting a state we'd never been to.

i'm 17, which makes me too young to do a lot of the "adult" stuff but too old to do a lot of the children's stuff. rollercoasters, arcades, etc. are cool but i'm here for several days and i'll need somethign else to do...is there anything for me here?

I'm a junior in high school and am taking a school trip to Ireland in March! I've been asking for donations in order to go on the trip and have already secured $280 in donations but just recently my parents said they would pay for the trip. Is it okay to buy a $120 digital camera with the $280 I've already raised? I don't have a digital camera and would use the camera to take pictures in Ireland. I would use the rest of the money for spending money in Ireland.

All of you who voted democrat this election, is this what you wanted in a change of direction with regard to national security issues? Pelosi giving the most sensitive of sensitive national security posts to someone with a proven track record of being bribed by organized crime? How long before this person is selling our national security secrets to al queda? Wasn't corruption a reason you voted against the republicans? Here we have as an immediate consequence (it is only the tip of the iceburg) of extreme corruption putting all of our lives in incredible jeapardy because of how you voted.
