I seem to see this with the older authentic Polish woman, controlling their husbands leading them around on a leash is this my imagination? I dont mean to offend any one but is this true?

I don't know what you consider older, but I'm authentic Polish, living in Los Angeles for a long time and I'm 34.
I do tend to be controlling, but only when I see the need to take charge, because things are not tended to or getting out of hand.
I still leave my husband a lot of freedom, but I will bust his butt when he takes too much liberties and neglects his responsibilities.
Someone has to kee p an eye on things after all.
Hope this answers your question.

No, I wouldn't say it is a predominant trend among Polish women... There is a variety of roles and stereotypes they choose to adapt, as is the case everywhere else in the world.
Perhaps the Polish women you've met are demanding or simply assertive, that's all.

I suspect they are no different from any other women. If you give them reason to distrust you, they get nasty (and rightfully so!)
