can it be bought into mexico like any other car and will they allow you to live there with it?

Yes, just like any other car..but...what part of Mexico? I live in Mexico and most places are safe,but big cities and tourist areas have more crime. I would certainly worry about that car! Also, I believe they have a very low ground clearance, and Mexican roads are often poor and hard on cars.

yes the car wont last long because of the road conditions most roads have many speed bumps they are some what high you will drag and even hang up on them, but yes you can enter Mexico title, insurance and bond your on the way. Every police that sees you will twenty $ you, you are asking for it. GOOD LUCK you will need it I spent years in Mexico
