you can take it that is not a problem at all, because of the size of it you might want to take it out of your bag so it goes into the x-ray by it self that will help you get through security faster because they will get a clearer picture of your bag.

Yes he may bring it, BUT he may NOT use it at all during flight. For a few reasons: 1. There's no outlet plug-ins, 2. The TVs wont support the input unless you're flying first class on Singapore Airlines and 3. It is restricted to play it during taxi/take-off/landing, but im not sure of your circumstances. I suggest calling the airline and asking them. And if he can bring it, it must be in a carry-on bag.

Traveling in the US? I don't see any reason why he can't. You probably will have to take it out of your bag like you do with laptop computers. Obviously he can't play it on the plane, but its less likely to get broken if it's not in checked luggage. http://www.tsa.gov has an exact list of whats allowed. England did have a ban on cell phones and stuff, but I'm not sure if that has been lifted.

I think it is restricted because I am a kid and i dont take a PS2 because if your son takes it and the others take it away , he will become very sad. but if u want to take it ,its not good . they might take it.its not good taking a risk.
