I am travelling to Asia from USA by KLM/NWA in December. I have 4 hours stop-over in Amsterdam (Schiphol Airport).

Is there any facility at the airport where I can take shower (bath)? I don't want to check-in any hotel for that.

If you are transferring at Schiphol and have enough transit time, then a shower is going to provide you with a welcome and refreshing break.

The showers are located in Hotel Mercure on the first floor of Lounge 3.

Hotel Mercure is located in the passenger area beyond security and is therefore only accessible by (transferring and departing) passengers.

The hotel is open 24 hours a day, so you can go there any time you like.

The cost of using a shower amounts to EUR 12.50 (including towels, soap and shampoo).

Before I can answer this question I need to know: Do you arrive from a Schengen or non-schengen-airport, and do you leave for a Schengen or non-Schengen-airport. See link below. Schiphol is divided into Schengen and non-schengen. If you have to change from non-schengen to Schengen, your luggage is searched, maybe your body, and off course passport. That takes time! KLM is usually on time, since they plan extra time for delay on their flights, but it is a short transfer. If you however can stay on the same side of the airport, then 50 minutes should do. Do you take hand luggage only, then that would make things even simpler. And about you other question: Schiphol is quit big. But here goes the same: do you stay in Schengen or non-schengen, then your next gate is not so far away. I add a link about Schiphol, but remember that KLM will never fly from the M-pier. And you never have to collect your bags en check in again, that is only in the US
