Is there any good place to visit during Christmas and New years in Missouri or any neighbouring state?

We are a young couple and would like to get away to a place where the christmas festive is there and we can spend time till new years eve and come back to st.louis. Something like Branson, MO.
And we dont mind driving for 6-7 hrs to the place.

Anything other than Branson, MO.. already been there and now wanna go to a new place

Christmas and New Years is a blast in New York City if you want to go that far. I went there before, but instead of driving, I used the airlines.
