Honestly - I would splash out £30 and buy the Autoroute software. It will do all that for you. I used to route my wagons' deliveries using this and it is genius! Worth the money. Sadly, there are no websites that will do the job for you.

Multimap - or google maps work along the same lines, but none of them will sort out a route. You can get software you purchase (like routefinder) which might help, couldn't you just do it visually then use multimap??

Sorry cannot answer your question but I can tell you this, you should be getting travel allowance from UK gov for all that travelling. I go to 2 or 3 different locations per day in London and claw back approx £4.20 from the gov. Hope you're doing this.

this is a common maths problem, normally called the "travelling sales person" problem
there is no known solution to being able to find the shortest route but you can find highest bounds.
try searching for "Travelling salesperson algorithms" or "decision and discrete maths problems" or "graph theory" on google.

google earth will let you show the points on a map at the same time so you could put them in the best order, but it wont sort the order for you
