i'm 17, which makes me too young to do a lot of the "adult" stuff but too old to do a lot of the children's stuff. rollercoasters, arcades, etc. are cool but i'm here for several days and i'll need somethign else to do...is there anything for me here?

Take a ride to the top of the Stratosphere. There is a rollercoaster on top.
See the sharks at Mandalay Bay.
See the tigers and dolphins at Mirage.
Check out the mall in Ceasar's Palace and Fashion Show Mall.
Check out the Gardens in Bellagio and see the fountains in front.
Check out the Bodies exhibit at Tropicana - definitely cool.
Check out the lion habitat at MGM.
Go rock climbing at Gameworks next door to MGM.

My son is 19 and daughter 12yrs. We like the show at Excalibur (dinner) Gameworks(rockclimbing) Ceasars mall and loved the Blue Man Group Show. Mostly when we all go its pool time in the day and walking about at night- we also saw a concert at UNLV which is right nextdoor to the strip and a easy taxi over. Check out the MM store and Rainforest Cafe in MGM. Also the grand canyon type store next to MM and MGM is cool. Old downtown has the lightshow at night but its kind of worn down and dirty. The newer strip is better and the tram runs you all over now too. The What's happening in Las Vegas Magazine will be in all the hotels- a good source. Mostly looking at your age but mine are never bored...

Just watching people on the strip is entertainment. There are many free things to do in Vegas that are fun. There is an inside Mall right by Bally's that is real cool and has a lot of free shows in the middle of it. I could go out there and never gamble and have a blast. Get on a bus and go downtown to old Vegas, that is very entertaining just in all the things set up in the middle of the street.

I have to say MAK hit it right on the money..
But you should also go to the roller coaster on the New York New york. The medieval show at the Excalibur is fun toooo.
Also you should check out the view on the Paris effiel tower that is amazing... If you have enough time and Money, a Cirque show would be GREAT too.
have fun!!! and enjoy all the free stuff too. like the bellagio fountain water show.

I'd hate to break it to you, but there ain't jack $hit you can do until you turn 21. I was in the same situation near your age, so when I turned 21 I made it a point to hit Vegas.

Nothing. You can eat, shop, go on some cheap rollercoaster rides and play in arcades. Go back at 21.

Get yourself a jar of Vaseline, a Penthouse magazine, and a rubber glove and take care of business.
That is all you will be able to do in Las Vegas since you are under 21.
