I saw on tv scenes of a city in China that is dedicated to the study of martial arts. Hundreds, maybe thousands of people practice at the same time. It looks beautiful. Does anybody know the name of the city?

I am probably moving to Japan soon with a friend. We plan to open a business together lol. But the point of the question. I live in America with my grandparents (in between places right now) who have always been like parents to me. And I have never lived outside of the same county! Now that I'm an adult and am ready to REALLY dig my feet in and go, I'm noticing just how painul the adjustment is for all 3 of us living more than 20 minutes from each other. So brilliant me, I decided a simple way to make it easier on us- stay in contact. And not just mail and phone calls either. I found the perfect cell phone for myself, it's like a mini computer, the Sony Ericsson W810i, which is EDGE and GSM compatable. Because my grandparents don't play with the fun things on phones, but so they could recieve video, photo and call me when they like, I chose the Z500a, also EDGE and GSM compatable.

But how do I get EDGE or GSM? Are they both global? I need serious help here!

I live in Erie, Pennsylvania, which is like 40 minutes on the thruway from Buffalo. Since we don't have much of a mall, we always go to Buffalo, and we go to the Walden Galleria and the parking lot is always filled with cars from Ontario. Seeing a New York state plate in the parking lot, is rare. The mall has a massive Canadian flag right next to the US one at the entrance.

So I'm just wondering, what it is that Canadians like so much about shopping in Buffalo, or the US? Cheaper prices? Different stores?

When we visited Toronto, we went to a big mall called the Eaton Center Mall and it was like 3 stories high, HUGE!!! So I don’t know why all the Canadians are going to Walden Galleria when you guys have that big one in Toronto??!??

I am going on a cruise to Hawai'i in December, and will be stopping at several different islands. I enjoy fairly casual activities, like hanging out at the beach for the day, etc. Does anyone have any recommendations on what to do (again, I'm going to pretty much all the islands)? Is there anything I should absolutely not miss? Any recommendations would be great!!!

it's got everything for visitors, doesn't have the crime of kenya or RSA, despite it's problems it's still probably the safest country on the continent,

I'm travelling with my fiance to Las Vegas and doing a 3.5 hour helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon. I've heard it's customary to tip the helicopter pilot but I haven't the first clue how much would be appropriate. The flight costs $250 USD per person.

Me and my fiance are trying to decide where to honeymoon. Since we live in Hawaii (and don't want to honeymoon on neighbor islands) we figured Tahiti would be a nice place to honeymoon. It's fairly close and in the same region, so we thought it would be a cheaper alternative to say, the Carribean or something but looking at Hawaiian Airlines (which is the only airline that I could find that flies directly to Tahiti from Hawaii- without stopping over on the mainland or something) the costs are $1,000+ and there are very few flights. Does anyone know why it's so expensive and hard to do? Thanks!
Ps. If you have any suggestions on where we should go, then please share them. Thank you!

After spending a few thousand dollars for a restfull cruise, how much should I expect to pay for "tips"
I've heard the foreign registered ships don't pay their crew well.
Why don't they just add the crew's pay on the bill?

Like when you fly within the US. I'm thinking of buying a ticket and fly to Chicago for a visit because of Thanksgiving. I've never flew before, just wanna know.

I will be traveling to Europe for the first time in a couple weeks. I have a four-country rail pass and will be taking the train into several different cities. According to my schedule, there are some travel segments that require seat reservations. I understand that they should be made once I am in Europe, as it is more expensive to make them while I'm in the US. My question is, how do I reserve a seat? Can any rail station make a reservation for me? Can I do it over the phone? Do they need to be made in advance of my train trip, or can I just walk up to a window (say an hour before the train leaves) and pay for it then?

Thank you for any and all advice!
