I'm sure the flight attendant will be embarassed to receive a tip. This is the first time I've heard of tipping flight attendants, even in first class. I've always gone first or business on transpacific flights, but have never seen anyone tip.
No, you should not tip. You may be setting a precedent if you do. Full-paying first class passengers don't tip because they're paying full price for the best service from the most experienced attendants of the airline. You just got lucky, and not at the expense of the attendant. Treat your seat as a discount instead.

NO you do not tip airline attendants. That is silly.
Enjoy your first class trip. Believe me, you will be surprised how they treat you. Ofcourse do not feel guilty. Just be normal and use all the facility available to you because you don't know if you can go first class again!
let me tell you a little bit of my first time 1st class. Mann you could just see the glow on my face, I had my handy video camera, I taped everything. I mean the reclining of seats, the buttons, the little kit they gave, the pillow, my husband, the air hostes going around giving out newspapers, man it was fun. My husband and I were both first timers so we really enjoyed. They came around with orange juice or champagne. Ofcourse you can get unlimited drinks! so you know what I did. Had lots of drinks. And ofcourse there is the great food and dessert.
So just enjoy it and have memories about it. We look back to that day and laugh each time. Ofcourse now when we travel first class we dont get that same feeling but it is all good.

OMG - Please DO NOT TIP. At best it will be awkward and embarassing... at worst, they will be offended.
Like others said, a "thank you" would suffice, but if they went above and beyond, you can say "and I'll make sure to let the company know." You can do so through each airlines' website.
The employees do get positive notes into their file, which will definitely help on reviews. Their immediate supervisor will also be informed that they made a customer happy enough to make the effort to send a note.
If you still want to give something tangible, a small gift card (I use Starbucks) with a quick note will also work, as they can turn in that note to their supervisor as well.

As far as tipping goes, that is limited not opnly by your own discretion, but more importantly, if the airline has a policy about Flight attendants accepting tips. Consult with management of the airline for further details.

that's what I have been given asked: they're going to ask you your ideologies, etc and why you chosen the airline as against the various others. Be waiting for that one. once you're 35+, stay away from talking approximately your age if possible. It scares them once you will could desire to bypass an agility attempt. i'm below the 30 mark, yet that's what a recruiter advised me that they like teenagers who would be there a jointly as and are much less in all probability to have an harm. they're going to def ask you approximately foreign places languages you talk and what you will possibly do if somebody is attempting to talk something to you and additionally you cant talk their language. they could ask you the way might you defend your self in a instruct down with a flyer

I don't think so, but then again I've only flown first class once! Normally you are paying for the extra service, and you don't tip the flight attendants in coach, so you shouldn't have to in First Class either!
