I have 3 free nights to a hotel in cancun, right on the beach. I have to use these nights up by the end of this year. Due to the time constraint. I have no one to go with. Would it be weird if I go alone during the first week of December? What would I be able to do there alone? How can I meet people?

I think you'll have a great time, that is if you enjoy your own company. Just pull up a seat at the bar and start talking to people around you! It's so easy to meet people on vacation... and you never know... you may meet someone to spend the days with (wink). Have a great time!!

cancun is a place where the people are really friendly, you wont have any trouble meeting new people and you will have a great time. Even if you never leave the hotel you wont be bored. The hotels there have in house entertainment and lots of the guests attend. Going into any bar or restaurant you will always find someone to talk to. I say go for it and have a great time!

I am just back from Cancun and went alone. As was said in a previous anwer just pull up a seat in a bar and chat to people. Or go on the Senor Frogs Bar Leaping Tour it is great fun and a good way to meet people, plus you get hammered. If you want to be amazed go to CocoBongo.

There are lots of North American people in Cancun, you will have lots of fun. I went alone too. Go to a place called Cocobongo, it is great!.

ohh you will have a blast.. I went with my sister and we met soo many different people. We met alot of couples and some single people. There is soo much to do that you will meet people all over. for example in your hotel when you go to dinner or when you go by your pool or beach. Also there are sooo many different places to go visit like the pyramids, Chichen itza and Tulum. the island mujeres where u can also snorkel. you can take one of the boat cruises and meet alot of people.
