Travel - 19 September 2006

My family.. myself, husband, two children (ages 5 and 2) want to go to arizona for christmas. We're leaving from airport CMH to airport PHX on dec. 24th and staying to dec. 29th.. any suggestions on how to get the best deal.. trying to find something for about $250 a ticket.

I'm going to work in Alexandria, looking for a place to rent in Alexandria or Arlington, what areas are considered bad? I know the area is expensive, so please don't tell me that it is expensive. I'm looking for the areas that have bad people, high crime, etc. that should be avoided, any info is appreciated.

And I am NOT talking about the most powerful.

Take into consideration - culture, people, laws, social make up, natural beauty etc etc.

My favourite is Spain (espana) , i've just come back from holiday there, spanish people are so nice and sexy as hell. Also I love their culture with bull fighting and the bull running down the street thing, and their food is awesome. The climate is the best. And their approach to life with the siesta thing is spot on.

And ibiza (evissa) rocks !!

I went to Costa Rica one time and had a layover in Miami, and I lengthened the layover to 12 hours on purpose so I could visit Miami. Two trips for the price of one essentially. Are there any airfare sites that specialize in picking layover cities where you can do this? The ideal trip would be maybe 2-3 layovers, a day in each place. Is this possible?

Looking to take the wife and two younger teenage boys to Manhattan before Christmas. Any suggestions on must see or do things while there. Only looking to stay 1 or 2 nights. I am originally from NYC, but I live In Atl,GA. I have to get a passport by Wednesday (09/ 20). I have to show a receipt that it is expidited ( for a flight attendent job). What are somethings you do to keep yourself connected to Tokyo / Japan?

I watch Japanese movies.

"Kyouki no Sakura" starring Yosuke Kubozuka is one of my favorite movies to watch when I am missing Shibuya.
Oh if you know of any good movies also post here!

Man it's almost Ocotber...best time of the year to be in Tokyo...I SO WANNA GO BACK!!!!
