Chile

I will be in Santiago very soon and need a hotel at the start of my trip and the last 2 nights of my trip. We are meeting my daughter and we would want a room for three. We want clean, safe, charming would be nice and not too pricey, by that I mean less than $150 a night , I'm frugal what can i say. i'd rather spend money on an activity than a place to sleep. Speaking of that if you can recommend any activities in the greater Santiago area or beyond, have at it!

Im going to Chile for July and August where school is still taking place due to winter time. The program I am getting into will consist of living with a host family while at the same time attend at a high school for 2 months. She is with Chillean mobile carrier Claro.
She has an 8 digit number that begins with a 7.
I have tried using the country code of 56 then city code of 51 then her mobile number. but that doesn't work. I have also tried many other combinations of country code, then her number etc.
Can anyone please help me with some information on the exact numbers (country code's and city codes to use)???? PLEASE HELP!!!
