When visiting a home to stay in any Latin culture a gift for the home and hostess is always in order - consider a set of place mats, tea towels, salad servers or an elegant pitcher. Definitively you want to bring back wine. Chilean wine is world famous and my personal favorite. If your family is not into wine, you will find jewelery resembling emeralds that are very cute.
