I heard from a friend that only Asian people (Japanese, Chinese and Korean) like using umbrellas to shield the sunlight. If you do this in France, people will laugh at you and think you are strange...

My family and I are going to World's End state park for a whole week starting on the 7th of this month. I've looked and looked but can't find hardly anything nearby listed. Anyone local to that area know any good places to visit while we are staying there? I ask because last year we stayed at Cook's Forest and there was so much to do there, we had a blast. Thanks.
