I might be going to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico this week. If I am, where is okay to eat? and where is not?
If we go we will probably stay at the Westin, so preferably close to there.
Also, know anything about the Westin Puerto Vallarta? Is it very close (walking distance) to the cruise ships? I have a friend who will be on a Mexican Riveria cruise this week so I was wondering if I'd be able to see her.
You don't have to answer all of these just please help me out a little bit!
Thanks a bunch! I hope I get some answers

Good Afternoon,
I am Traveling to Puerto Vallarta Nov 4-11, the wearther shows the average temperature there is highs 85 and Lows in the 70, does that sound about right and does it rain much if at all in Nov? Does it cool down when the sun goes down or are most people running around in shorts most of the time, even after dark? Also, do the restaurants and clubs there have dress codes. I am talking about the average restaurant not the 5 star in the Four Seasons but the popular clubs, etc...like no shorts, no thong sandals, that sort of thing. Any sort of direction would be appreciated. Thanks

can you please leave me good advice or tips on traveling there. I'm going there the end of Oct. I've only traveled once in my entire life & that was w/my husband. This time it will just be me & my 2 daughters. We're staying in a condo, so no hotel tips needed. But, what else should we be prepared for? What were your good & bad experiences?

Help!!

I've decided to stay at the Barcelo La Jolla in Puerto Vallarta. Should pay for my excursions (Canopy Tour & Horseback) when I book the trip or should I arrange them when I get to Mexico?

My husband and I have separated and it's time for me to start moving on. I need some me time and would to pamper myself with a vacation. I have read the messages about Dreams Resort in Puerto Vallarta put it seems more like a place for groups of friends, and lovers of course. I have looked a lot of the All Inclusive in Puerto Vallarta; it really looks like a wonderful place to visit. Any suggestions on which resorts I would feel more comfortable at since I will be traveling alone. Not looking to meet new men yet but I deserve some fun in the sun too.
I understand anywhere I go there will be couples. I would like the opportunity to be with other people that are possibly traveling alone as well so I don’t feel so much like a fifth wheel.
I can’t believe I have to go through this all over again! Sometimes life really sucks; I’m trying to make lemonade.

This occurred some time before that. 'sparks_m' was given the 'best answer' by me due to his almost 10,000 points.
'mexkimo' also indicated that Mar 11 was the day and tried to 'sell' me on something. THEY WERE BOTH DEAD WRONG!! Never mind the free 2 points, if you're wrong or don't know the answer, don't reply. The correct answer was not until April 1st. The Mexicans decided to go on their own. I was in PV and was privy to it. Most of them didn't have a clue about the States or Canada changing on Mar. 11th. 'Jim W' answered april 1st, but he (she) seemed to be referring in general to past practices and maybe didn't have a clue about PV, but was inadvertently right. How the heck can someone get so many points or whatever, such as 'sparks_m' or thousands of others who don't have a clue what they're talking about?? MY answers are legit and my questions are of concern. A lot of queries are nonsense!! What is this world coming to?? How do these people get so many pts? Beats me! 5 pts gone

We are going to PV Easter week and are getting a car. My husband is from Latin America and speaks fluent Spanish which always helps. We always like to take trips out of the resort areas and stop at beaches, stores and restaurants wherever we end up...just sort of wander around. I have been reading that South of PV on highway 200 is really beautiful and I would like some suggestions for some highlights. I read that part of the highway is curvy and high on the mountain which is no problem for us to drive, but I am wondering how far those areas are from PV. Your suggestions and ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hey, look. I am going to PV march 12-15. I'ts on my honey moon. My friend was in El Tropicana which he recommended very much. I checked it out on the web, and I like it to. but the price I found was for $1,180 pesos (about $105.00 USD) For my budget it is kinda high thinking that it is motel only. What I like is that it is Ocean front, and the room is with Ocean view. Is there anybody who could recommend anything comparing to El Tropicana that is with a lower price. If it was for that price all inclusive, i'd have less of a problem with that. Thankyou

I have a vacation booked in May 2007 to stay at the RIU Jalisco in Nueva Vallarta. This will be my third time staying at a RIU.. Love them!!

The question is: Which RIU resort is better? Riu Jalisco or RIU Vallarta. They are both next to each other and the RIU Vallarta is new (just opened a few months ago)...

Has anyone been to these resorts? Do you see a big difference between the two resorts? Which one is nicer??

We had a pleasant stay there a few years ago and are planning to return next month. We are bringing friends with us this time and don't want to be disappointed. Would also like comments/recommendations on restaurants in the Romantic Section of PVR. Thanks,
