I need to know what is the least expensive, yet good neighborhoods to stay in a hotel and what is the best time of year to go? I live within driving distance, is it a good idea to drive or should I take a train?

Why do I dream so much about High School?

Best fireworks around Chicago/Porter Indiana area?

I am from Southern Indiana and I am traveling to Porter, Indiana to visit the Indiana Dunes National Park. We want to see a fireworks display and I do not know how good of quality these cities have. I found a list of firework times/places on the internet and I was just wondering what is the best place and worst? The places should be in a reasonable distance. This list shows a lot but if you live in the Northern Indiana area suggestions would be appreciated because half of the cities I have not heard of. Anything would be great!! We're leaving tomorrow morning early. Thanks in advance!!
