From the USA, land mail should reach the Canadian destination in about a week and airmail, 3 days. Elsewhere on the planet will extend the surface mail time considerably but have less effect on air mail. Travelling in person is the same problem. Where are you starting and how are you travelling? Longest air flight time is close to 2 days (Australia or New Zealand area). Ground travel will vary from a few minutes if you can see the flags at Canada Customs to over a month from Tierra del Fuego. Anywhere in the USA to the most remote parts of Canada (accessible by car) should be doable in a couple of weeks at the most if you travel non-stop. Remember that just about everything in Canada is bigger than Texas!!

I'm sure you're just so enthusiastic about your question that you failed to notice you didn't give any information to base a response on. What do you mean how long does it take for mail to get to Canada? Mail from where? A letter takes two days from most major cities in the world, because most mail goes airmail these days. Parcel post may take longer if you ship it surface and it has to go by boat or truck.
The same answer goes for you. How long does it take to get to Canada? Where are you coming from and how to do plan to travel?

it all depends on what country is it coming from... there are many types of sending mail like express or ordinary..by ship is cheaper but long long way to go..
Even we would tell you how long would it be,, it matters on how much you willing to pay to reach your mail into its destination..
just like getting to canada, the flight or route you gonna plan would be counted the way you choose it like paying less or more and what country you are coming from..
to make sure, ask the post office for the mail, how long would it take and the travel agency how long would it take to get to Canada in your country.
good day!

I'm in Switzerland. Mail takes a week from here (almost all of it on the Canadian leg of the journey).
I'm 20 minutes from the airport and a direct flight is 7 hours.

I guess it rather depends on where you are from. I would say a letter from USA would take a minimum of 1 week. Letters from Europe usually take closer to a month to arrive.

Depends if you drive or fly. And if you drive, it depends on the route you take. But I estimate it takes around, 8 hours, depending on where you go from.
