By November the winter residents have returned to Phoenix and there are activities galore. There are arts and craft festivals everywhere, including the Carefree Art and Wine Festival, the ArtFest of Scottsdale, the Fairgrounds Antique Market and the Fountain Hills Festival of Arts and Crafts. There is the Arizona Balloon Festival in Chandler. You can go to a Coyotes or Cardinal game or NASCAR races. You can go golfing or horseback riding. ZooLights begins around Thanksgiving. There is the Arizona Science Center, museums and concerts. The Arizona State Fair runs through early November. If you can't find plenty to do in Phoenix in November, you just aren't looking!

I only stayed there one day, but it seems pretty boring. I asked the hotel guy what was exciting there to do. He said at 5:30 every morning they unloaded the trucks down at Safeway! After that I left and went to Sedona. It was good there.
