Anyone think the Jacksonville Jaguars are going to make some noise in the playoffs this year? Do you think they have a liget chance at making the superbowl? I do, I just want to know what everyone else thinks.

I was wondering when, in college, they attempt a fake field goal the holder's knee is down, so why is the play not whistled dead? is it a special circumstance because of the play..... just wondering? thanks for answers!!

Whos to say that all is well in nascar land? How do we know teams like hendrick with there dominating performance arent cheating and nascar is in the pocket book? prove to me that they arent? i mean no one wins 18 of 36 races, finishes 1-2 in the championship, and gets caught cheating like 7 times isn't doing some SERIOUIS cheating back @ the shops!!!

and who knows what toyota teams are planning next season and everyone knows Joe Gibbs Racing are KNOWN CHEATERS as well.. I mean look @ what he did in Washington in the NFL w/ that whole scandal...

I think all of NASCAR is cheating adn they are letting it happen and you remember that fuel thing that happened and water was all in the gasoline well that was brian frances way of letting the teams know he controls everything and it all goes through him so authorize your cheating before doing it or someone will get penalized or probation or whatver other silly rules they have in nascar.

The Patriots are also averaging 413.6 ypg, even though they are a cold-weather team!! All the other teams are either warm weather or dome teams!

That makes him the most current champion. Now Michael Waltrip's hire of his champion does not make a didley. I mean, NASCAR is insane. I will ofcourse watch it and root for it because I love it. I drive my family crazy with it. But I mean it just is not fair. THose open whell guys, yeah they should be allowed to come on in, but through the ranks. I realize they have some capability already but I mean, come on.!!!!!!!! Put them on the short course or something but let them earn their way in. Thanks for letting me vent.

Why is Sabean not doing much. He signed Vizquel and Rowand and that's it...two moves is not going to make a championship team. When is Sabean gunna get going? When is he going to do something to actually help the team. Please explain..

Chris Simon has been suspended for some 30 games which means he won't play again 'til later on in the season. What he did was dispicable. People are saying it's the longest suspension in NHL history. That isn't accurate. About 30 decades ago, a player was suspended for LIFE. What some of these players are doing on the ice not only draw negative feelings toward themselves, what they do is ILLEGAL. Some of them, like Tod Bertuzzi should be charged criminally. Simon definitely has issues, and until such time as he can prove that he's fit to play properly without violence and without causing personal injury to another player, he should be suspended indefinitely. If violent behaviour isn't curtailed, it will take a player being killed before the NHL does something strongly to stop it. I hope this never happens.
Tod Bertuzzi cost another player his career...that's just the tip of the iceberg. Enough..I've vented now.

What do you think? Should the cheaters give back their ill gotten awards, or do we leave the past behind us and just move forward... Or should schiling just shut the hell up for a change and keep his opinions to himself. I completely agree with him and to be honest, I love when he runs his mouth, it's his right, right?

I think it would have made more sense back in 2002 to make Gillette stadium a dome, because its New England and we get a bunch of bull**** weather. I for one am alittle concerned the Pat's have homefeild advantage, i wish they were playing down south or something during playoffs, because if u look at the stats, they completely dominate on days with good, warm conditions. Does anyone think that too, and does anyone know if the Kraft family are looking into that situation or what.

Yahoo seems to count it as a run and lists Heinz Wards stats for week 15 as 3 Rec, 27 Rec. Yards, 1 Rec TD, 1 Rush, 4 Rush Yards.

The NFL lists wards week 15 stats as 4 Rec., 31 Rec. Yards

Some websites list ward the way yahoo does, others the way the NFL does. Who is right?
(I won my playoff match by .5, now because of this "correction" (which wasn't made until yesterday) I have now lost by 2.5 points!

Ok so i can ski backwards alright and i'm getting better, but when i'm going backwards and i try to switch back to forward my ski's end up doing a pizza. So my problem is mainly switching back forward, anyone have any tips or know what i'm doing wrong? -Thanks :)

I have been to most of the Stadiums and have had varying levels of experiences at the different Stadiums. Some give you a great feeling of home, some are better for entertaining the non-Baseball fan, others have that nostalgic feeling that everyone wishes their stadium felt like. I got some practice laps on a friends YZR-250 in like 1974...I had an AMA experts license in flat track and motorcross so I was allowed on the track....obviously I didn't want to crash the scooter so didn't scrape any knee pads, but I gave it a pretty good go...All I can say is that is a big track...they didn't have the chicane at turn 3 on the oval back then either, so when you hit turn 3 off the back straight you were cranking...his 250 ran about 175 as I recall...

A lot of people argue that technology is ruining racing and that the bikes are so advanced that they almost ride themselves. With things like traction control, wheelie control and all manner of electronic gizmo's, the riders of today are said (by some) to be nowhere near as skillful as their predecessors.

So I thought, lets take two "Greats". One from the modern era, and one from a bygone age. Then put them on a bike that would be totally alien to both of them.

So, who better than Valentino Rossi and Mike (The Bike) Hailwood, riding a 1990 vintage, Rotary Norton.
