Believe it or not, back in my youth (and I do mean 'WAY back!) I did some back roads drags. I had a really fast '63 Plymouth Fury III and I just loved drag racing. I still drive too fast more often than not but I haven't done the racing thing in forever! WILL-I-AM: we used to drag race down Precinct Line over by the East Hooks school, right about where the interstate crosses it now.
My favorite "drive fast" song is any one of three or four surfer songs from the Beach Boys era.

I tried it a couple of times in an industrial park . There was a big group of us we'd go there every Friday night.I thought it was ok but not organized enough to really be fun. Also had to worry about cops and other unwanted surprises. Then I went to the track and tried it once and I've been hooked ever since.
Some good driving songs for me are " Radar Love", Golden Earring, " Replica", Fear Factory, " Kick start My Heart", Motley Crue, "Just One Fix or Jesus Built My Hot rod", Ministry "Flirt'in With Disaster" Molly Hatchet, " Before I Forget", Slipnot and "Gearjammer", George Thourogood

Yes, back in the late 60's & early 70's in my 65 Mustang & 70 Firebird (got a ticket with the Firebird) we use to crank up all Beach Boys and Jan and Dean, and the Doors, my friend had a GTO, he use to blast that song by Ronny and the Daytonas lit'l GTO, drove me nuts.. Now I pop in Van Halen, Chilli Peppers, Green Day, or Kanye West or Jay-Z, Daughtrey, even some Bruce Springsteen (his old stuff)

When I was younger we had a street marked off for a 1/4 mi. We would run just about every day. We would jam to just about any type of rock. The late 70's stuff to early 80's as long as it wasn't disco....My favorite music would of been most anything by the Eagles. But really I drove fast no matter what and I have the drivers history and high insurance premium to prove it. LOL

Well, I am only 14 so i don't drive, let alone to ilegal streat racing unless it is on a game system. However, my favorite song that motivates to drive fast would have to be "Shut Up and Drive" by Rihanna. I love that song!!!

I haven't really street raced but I'll 2nd Black Sunshine, or anything else on that CD, and anything by Tool seems to inspire me to drive faster. I recently got Blood Mountain, by Mastadon, and that CD would be good for that purpose also.
