What does SWAC stand for? Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi just won the SWAC championship and I have NO IDEA what that stands for.

The inescapable conclusion of the Mitchell report is that baseball is incapable of policing itself, government intervention mandating independent testing is necessary. The union had players stonewall the investigation. Only players named were those using lacking the foresight that their suppliers would get caught and they would have documentation backing their claims.

Baseball has no incentive to police itself, with higher turnover, stars more frequently injured and out longer will cause the public interest to flag, would adversely impacting revenue streams. The players looking for the multimillion dollar paydays don't want that threatened either, most know they could get replaced for less money.

If New England wins again against Miami, how many of you here will either:

2. Predict the Giants will win because "they will injure every New England player on the team"?

Just curious. Because I'm SURE not everybody rooting against NE were actually Jet fans like they claimed to be, and with that in mind, there shouldn't be NEARLY that many Dolphin fans.

I Think The Answer Is Yes. Why?
1) The Patriots Have Come Close To Losing Some Of Their Games.
2) The Patriots Will Be Too Cocky And Over Look Them As A Threat.
3) The Patriots Are Hurting, Do To The Fact They Really Haven't Rested Their Starters A Lot.
4) The Dolphins Are Coming Of A Win On Sunday And That Will Boost There Moral To Rally A Win Against The Unbeaten Patriots.
And 5) Even Though The Dolphins Haven't Won But One Game Their Defense For Passing Is Ranked #4 Which Will Be An Advantage Against The Patriots Pass Happy Offence.

I have a nice CETME w/ a stainless receiver and (crappy) wide forearm stock set. Someone wants to trade me a FBI trade-in Sig 226 in 9mm and a Beretta 950 B S in .22 short for it. Despite all the money owner Bob Kraft has, he doesn't own every single media outlet (tv, radio, newspaper) in the world. If anything the Pats don't want all of this coverage. If it didn't exist, they wouldn't have to constantly hear and be asked about the undefeated season which is probably distracting at times. However the media covers what's hot and like it or not that's the Pats right now.
I don't really care if you're a Pats hater because they "got an unfair advantage this year" by cheating, they run up the score whenever possible or for no good reason at all. I'm just asking about all those haters who constantly talk trash about the Pats and complain about the coverage they receive.
