<<
1) The Patriots Have Come Close To Losing Some Of Their Games.
>>
They've won them. Winning the close ones is more impressive in some ways than winning the 50-10 ones.
<<
2) The Patriots Will Be Too Cocky And Over Look Them As A Threat.
>>
Not a chance. Pats would never overlook the dolphins, the Dolphins have pulled upsets on them before.
<<
3) The Patriots Are Hurting, Do To The Fact They Really Haven't Rested Their Starters A Lot.
>>
They are one of the healthiest teams in the league right now, they are not hurting. Oh and FYI, its due to the fact not do to the fact
<<
4) The Dolphins Are Coming Of A Win On Sunday And That Will Boost There Moral To Rally A Win Against The Unbeaten Patriots.

Sure the Dolphins got a moral boost. No question, I dont think anyone on the Patriots roster has been suffering from depression lately though.

And 5) Even Though The Dolphins Haven't Won But One Game Their Defense For Passing Is Ranked #4 Which Will Be An Advantage Against The Patriots Pass Happy Offence.

Wasn't when the Patriots threw five TD's in the first half at Miami, why would it be an advantage now?

Your reasons are silly and this is why
1) The Patriots Have Come Close To Losing Some Of Their Games.
ANS: But they haven't lost so your statement is just wishful thinking. Patriots have better coaching, talent, drive and home field over the 1-13 Dolphins
2) The Patriots Will Be Too Cocky And Over Look Them As A Threat.
ANS: Patriots are cocky because they ARE better than everyone else they have played. If you watch Patriots games, it would be clear the Patriots don't overlook ANYONE.
3) The Patriots Are Hurting, Do To The Fact They Really Haven't Rested Their Starters A Lot.
ANS: The Patriots have very few players hurt. They might rest starters for the 4th quarter and only if the game is already in hand. Otherwise, Patriots are playing a full game. This is typical of Bill Belichick and he won't change tthat on Sunday.
4) The Dolphins Are Coming Of A Win On Sunday And That Will Boost There Moral To Rally A Win Against The Unbeaten Patriots.
ANS: Um...No. More likely that the Dolphins got the winless season off their back , so they can mentally pack it in and play out the string and just hope that no gets hurt. Dolphins will be less motivated not more motivated for this game.
And 5) Even Though The Dolphins Haven't Won But One Game Their Defense For Passing Is Ranked #4 Which Will Be An Advantage Against The Patriots Pass Happy Offence
ANS: No teams pass defense has been able to stop Tom Brady. The only thing that has done that this year are 30 mph winds. Miami's defense isn't that great.

No and I'll refute your points before making my own...
1) Yes, they've come close, but when they needed to score they did. They've won every game, and close doesn't count in Football.
2) What gives you the idea they'll be cocky? do you know anything about this team... The players and coaches will enhance last weeks Miami win to make them seem like a playoff team going into Sunday.
3) Who's hurting? Watson and Neal are the only 2 offensive players hurting. Have you seen the Dolphins' injuries? All teams have played the same # of games this year, the Pats aren't any more tired than any other team.
4) Yes, they're on a high right now, but emotion can only carry a team so far. Just compare the rosters, the Dolphins have the ability to keep the Pats offense in check, but how can they score on the Pats D with any consistency?
5) The pass happy offense? Didn't the Pats win by running the ball last week in horrible conditions? The Pats have played several teams this year with statisticly good defenses at the time and shredded them (Pittsburgh, Washington, Dallas, San Diego). And also, how is Miami's Pass Defense ranked #4? Their opponent's passer rating is 92.9 (30th in the league) and 7.79 yards per attempt (31st in the league) the only thing that is good about their pass defense is that since the other team usually has the lead, they don't get tested much, 314 opponents attempts (fewest attempts allowed by a large margin).
Furthermore, the game is in New England. Home field advantage is huge in December and New England hasn't lost at home since they changed to field turf last year.
I'll give the Dolphins a 10% chance of winning this week, and that's being generous.

1 - NO becaue, the Dolphins are the worst team in the NFL.
2 - A win is a win, no matter by what margain.
3 - Belichick does not let them get cocky, and coaches them, to play every game to win.
4- The Patriots are also coming off a win on Sunday, and looking for another win.
5- Do you forget the first game, this year against the Dolphins?
6- The Patriots defensive line, will decimate the Dolphins offense.
7- Lemon is the QB in Miami
8- The Patriots can run the ball, they just chose not to, until it was necessary, to spare injury to the runningbacks.
Go Patriots 14-0 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! How about
1. No matter how badly they've played or what the weather conditions, the Pats have found a way to win
2. The pats are NEVER cocky. you should know that. The Phins win over the ravens alone will motivate them
3. The Pats starters are probably looking forward to beatin on the Dolphins WEAK defense
4. while the "Moral"(sic) may be up, so is the fear. this is an AWAY game
5. the reason the Dolphins passing D is #4 is because their run D is WORST IN THE LEAGUE. Opponents have run on them more and gotten more yards than any other other team. So they get their ranking because nobody's passing against them. By the way, did you remember that Brady was 21 for 25 and got 354 passing yards against them earlier this year? How about his 6 touchdown passes in that game? And that was one of the games where they took him out (it was 42-7 at halftime).
Any other ideas? This is kinda fun!

1. A team being in close games doesn't necessarily mean they're vulnerable. Regardless, New England KNOWS how to win in close games. They're 4-0 in that regard.
2. And for good reason. Miami's 1-13! Their only victory came in overtime against a team who lost 8 in a row. Last time, New England scored 56 on them. Why SHOULDN'T they be cocky?
3. Hurting? I don't think they would have destroyed Pittsburgh that badly if they truly were "hurting". Each team gets a week to rest. All are healthy.
4. Wow, an overtime win against Baltimore. New England's won what, 16-17 regular season games in a row? Plus, they're only the second team EVER to be 14-0 besides the '72 Dolphins. How's that for motivation?
5. What did that amazing defense do last time they played against New England? Exactly.
Miami has NO chance.

NO!
Here is way not!
1. The Patriots have not lost any of their games. Yes they have come close. To whom the Colts!! Come on the Colts are way above the caliber of Maimi!!. The Eagles??? The Eagles have stepped up their game when they Played the Patriots and when the Played the Cowboys. If the Eagles played that way all season long They would have been one of the top four seeds.
2. Seen when are the Patriots too cocky??? Get over it just cause some fan are doesn't mean they are!! IT's not them making promises or gaureentee that they are going to win!!!
3. Not resting doesn't necessarly mean your hurting. Sometimes going and going keep you active so you don't get rusty.
4. One win doesn't mean that all flaws have been cleared up. They lost to a team that's lost all their ambition after a major loss to the Patriots. They played their heart out with the Patriots there was nothing left. There superbowl was the Patriots game. Season over and they checked out.
5. Their #4 defense won them how many games??? Wow one win! Wow the team that couldn't win, has become flawless!!! HOLY CRAP once you win one game then you can beat them all.
Patriots take advantage and exploit the errors of other teams. Miami hasn't been winning because of mistakes and turn-overs does one thing that they will become mistake proof in a week????
Game over Miami loses!!

1) The Dolphins lost 13 of their games came close to winning maybe 4 of them , Patriots came close to losing 2 out of 14 not bad but still won ,
2) you obvoiusly don't watch the Patriots they dont get cocky
3) Are they hurting or are they getting primed up to go 4 quarters in the Playoffs - they will have a week to rest up , maybe they will be able to play Golf with the Dolphins players while on that Bye week seeing how the Dolphins have tee times already booked
4)A win the Dolphins players still can not believe they won
5) Their team has a 4th Rank Pass defense because teams can run at will on them , the Patriots will run and pass at will against them

Yes the Pats have come close to losing some of there games. However, the National Championship OSU Buckeyes in 2002 came close to losing many of their games, however the still went out in January and proved they were the best team in the nation.
I doubt that Belichick will allow the Pats to overlook any team, especially a team that has amazing momentum winning their first game last week and lifting the pressure off their shoulders.
Professional athletes are paid to take week in, week out abuse. The fact that the Pats haven't rested their starters shouldn't matter. These gentlemen are in better shape than 90% of people in the world.
The Fins do have good momentum coming off their win and a strong pass defense.
A upset can happen at any time as Michigan, LSU, USC and countless others can tell you. As they say, Thats why they play the game.

You're kidding right? The Dolphins don't have a chance! The Patriots beat the only other contender for best team in the NFL, the Colts and they've smeared the field with the Dolphins already.
