Ok I HAVE to try out for cheeleading soon which i already made the 7th and 8th cheer squad but now i have to make the high school squad... Any people or places you know were you can get cheerleading lessons?

I nead a team name for my volleyball team. We are a group of 13-14 year old girls. We have had the task of finding a team name for a while and we have only come up with one good option, cyclones, then our coach heard the song and said NO!!!

we played volleyball at school and my teacher kept on having a go at me because I was hitting the ball with one hand.
In real competitions, is it legal to hit a volleyball with one hand?

We started these tournaments for VOLLEYBALL on Tuesday and well im the ONLY ONE out of my team [1 out of 9] who can't hit the ball. My team is mad at me for not hitting the ball and yeah they are right to be mad because i HAVE NOT hit the ball since we began the tournament. The reason is not because im lazy or scared of the ball.

It's because i SUCK at hitting the ball.
Every time im ready to hit the ball i miss the ball by a FOOT
Im only good at serving the ball

CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME?

1. What is the propper way to hit the ball?
2. What should i do so that i don't miss the ball when i try to hit it?

AHH

I am only 4'9" and in 7th grade and I played modified volleyball and the season is over now and i only served it over the net in 3 out of the like 15 games me had! I really wanna do volleyball again next year or play club. My coach makes us serve it over hand and i can't serve it with an open hand. I HAVE to serve it with a fist or it doesn't go ovver

any tips please?!?!?

we are in eigth grade and to be honest she is costing us games. Her platform is always going every which way and she is unwilling to slide on her kneepads. My mom honestly estimated that she ways about 240 pounds. nothing short of a big girl but this should mean she has power am i wrong? Well my question is although we do platform and diving drills everyday she is not improving. How can i help herr so we dont lose our next game.

I've managed to serve, but it's never consistent, maybe about 5 out of every 15 times. Many of my friends have tried helping me and they say that my technique is good, it's just that i don't have enough power, or its the way my hand contacts the ball. How is my hand supposed to contact the ball, open hand (like a high-five) or like a "karate-chop"? how can i improve my power?

I am looking for good knee pads for girls volleyball. I was not sure if i should get the really bulky ones that like have a lot of padding sticking out, or just like a normal one or a slider one. From expirence which one do you prefer?

Ok, i freeze on the court. A LOT! My coaches tell me I'm the fastest player on the court, they even call me "speed freak"... but whenever that ball gets hit at me something tells me to just 'STOP'. It won't quit! I'm sick of it, the coaches are sick of it and my team is sick of it. How do I pull out of this before I lose my place on my team and more importantly my confidence that I can even play this game.

I play outside hitter and need to get my appraoch down pack. I'm right handed so I know my approach is right left right left. But I always put my left foot frist and end up getting my whole appraoch backward! HELP!!
