This happens in cricket.

Every team says this before playing against the champions ( Australians).
This is their biggest 'EXCUSE'.

Ok, i can understand when someone gracefully accepts the fact that his opponent was better than him but 'AFTER' the match or series.

In cricket this retarded things occurs even before the start of the match or a series against Australia

Before playing against Australia's champion team, the opposition captain starts saying that the Australians are the best in cricket & we will try .

Even after losing to Australians, the opposition players don't say that they made some mistakes but they say that Australians were too good to handle.

Being an Indian, i am actually quite happy with the attitude of Indian players before an Australian series.
Kumble, Rahul , Ganguly and some other players have made some very positive statements. Thata's good but this happens very rarely.

It's clear, no one wants to compete with Australians.

I am extremely p*ss*d that the Miami Dolphins won their game last night on Sunday 12/16 against the Ravens!!! I, like Jim Rome, wanted a dream season where an NFL team would run the table in reverse with an 0-16 season! The Dolphins were going to achieve both of our dreams! They should have just quit! They should have embarassed the 1972 Dolphins by just quitting! Now I feel like there's nothing left to watch of football! Its over! I am so p*ss*d!

Who here is p*ss*d that the Dolphins won a game last night against the Ravens!? Who else here wanted a 0-16 dream season!?

Dallas had no time outs left. The man KNEW what he was doing!!!! He did what was right for the team, and he does NOT deserve all of this negative backlash!!!!!!!!!

For the naysayers, would you have disagreed with it if it was your team involved in a close game and they pulled out the win? Of course you wouldn't!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey, well i just got a pair of Burton Custom and I have to say, they look fantastic :D.
Well anyways, I installed my bindings on my snowboard and they look nice. Heres the problem....
I seem to have installed the baseplate upside down to each other. Like

the first image is my left binding (front) and

the second image is my right binding (back)
as one can see, the base plates have is opposite of another. Because there was like 4 arrows on side on the circles, i got confused when i put them :S.
I'm wander if i should reinstall the bindings or is it okay if I leave it like this. These are burton baseplate, unidisk.

I'm realize that I'm probably being picky, but I hate it whan an announcer says, "He's down on the one foot line."
There is no one foot LINE. The lines are a yard apart. There are only YARD lines.
The runner can be down one foot from the goalline, but there is no line for him to be down on.

Just saw on espn where they projected the Falcons to draft Matt Ryan. With Derek Anderson establishing himself in Cleveland Quinn could be available. Browns need defensive help and Falcons need a qb it's a trade that could help both teams.

Okay, in yesterday's Jags Steelers game the jaguars were all over Big Ben and this has been a theme for him all season. The O Line has done a great job run blocking but seems to have a lot of difficulty keeping people off of their QB. Do you think that the O Line needs to work harder at pass blocking or does Roethlissberger need to get the ball off faster?

Hi, I've been looking for a pair of gloves for my grandad. He spends a lot of time outdoors playing crown green bowls and as the temperature here is only a little above zero, I need something thats really warm. It would also be best if they are not so bulky too. I'm willing to pay any price - can anyone recommend a good pair??

They will have the 3rd best record and finish 1 or 2 games behind Indy but will be going on the road to either Pittsburge, Cleveland or San Diego. Better records should be more important than winning a sorry division right? They fixed it in the NBA and should fix it in the NFL.

In my league semi-finals, my opponent is DONE. And I am beating him by 0.92 points. I have Chester Taylor left to play on my roster. Would you bench Chester Taylor, and hope their is no 'stat corrections' for his team later in the week, or just play Chester Taylor and pray he doesn't fumble (-2.0pts) and get hurt early in the game.

It sucks when you have already technically won the week, and still have to make a decision about something!!

Fortunately, for the Colts, the Raiders let some rookie QB with virtually no experience hand them the game.

After a string of weak performances against new england, San Diego, Kansas City and now the Raiders - should the Colts be allowed into the playoffs? I don't think they could beat the Dolphins in Miami at this point. Shouldn't there be a BCS type system and let Buffalo in instead?

Compared to Italy and Spain, ENGLAND IS A DIFFERENT KETTLE OF FISH! In the space of just 1 week the British press have probably know everything about him - from his shoe size to his former lovers! So no secrets Fabio!

Also I think that, whilst many including myself would have preferred an Englishman, I think that appointing a foreigner should be viewed more as a quick-fix solution than a long term answer.

The FA promised us two things,
1) A world class manager
2) A thorough root and branch investigation into the English coaching set-up

The first objective has clearly been delivered, but we are yet to see results to the latter! If we can't win the world cup with Capello's expertise, then something clearly has to be done at grass roots level! Perhaps a change to the premier league schedule is needed?
