I don't know, I was going to buy a 500$ bike, but I read that only bikes who cost 1000 and more are good... So tell me, WHY does it cost so much??? Is it so enduring or what??

I'm looking for a new or MINT, lightly used 2005 Fox vanilla 125 RLC fork (Internally adjustible to 80 100 or 125mm travel). I'd prefer the disc only version (no v brake bosses) but I would consider any type as long as it is new/near new with at least 8" of steer tube. I have a 2005 Fox TALAS 125 RLC availible for trade. Mint New/take-off.

Full or front only suspension mountain bikes?

Hi, looking for a mountain bike. Into road bikes really, but fancy one for up in the 'Lakes' {UK Cumbria}.

Also may go to the Alps summer 08, go up on some of the cable cars and back down on the bike.

Want to be able to fit rear mudguard as I do not want to spoil my Lycra - will use it in the rain / mud on and off road.

I had a go on a full suspension jobber, felt very odd, bouncing up and down, even when pedaling and the flay, so may just go for front suspension only, plus that way I can also fit my youngest's tow along bike and a pannier rack too. Don't think you can do so on full suspension ones?

Looking for disk brakes too.

Sale at Halfords - they look OK at £400.

What the best mountain bike / best place buy?

Ta!

We need an adult sized tricycle for her. Preferrably with a full seat[one with a back] and pedal straps.

We aren't the best off when it comes to money so anything too expensive it out of the question.

I found a schwinn adult trike at walmart.com sears.com k-mart.com and more but this bike doesn't have a full seat and i'm afraid she wouldn't be able to sit on it....

shout abuse to push bike riders who go around in big groups eg racers on a sunday when they use all the road and don't look when they are turing or shout 1st telling us to bog off.
He keeps telling me they shoould pay a road tax like we have to, and he will shout that at them.

I want to get the hottest mountain bike to hit the trails with this up coming summer, price is not an issue. What mountain bike will every one love to have in 2008 hard tail or full suspension?. What mountain bike has the best technology and design? What mountain bike can handle the widest range of off road terrain? I have looked at CANNONDALE, SPECIALIZED, GIANT, TREK. I personaly like the SPECIALIZED looks and technology. I really like the Stumpjumper FSR and S-Works full suspension models but I am keeping an open mind. What do you guys think is the hottest mountain bike for the 2008 model year?

i need to lighten up my rig, and i am thinking about getting a new fork, crankset, tires and wheelset. i cant afford top of the line, tell me what you think about these-

Rock shox SID race or team model

XTR cranks - maybe a set of FSA carbon cranks

Mavic Crossride wheels - $180 at my lbs, and i get a 20% discount for working there.

as for tires, im thinking about a set of skinnies for XC race

im gonna sell my current parts to get some money to put towards my new purchases.

what else do you recommend i upgrade?

I am trying to find this LED Jogging/Walking vest that I see people wearing ALL the time when I'm driving so I can never stop and ask where they get it. They of course are wearing it at night, it looks to be black, but it has these bright red lights, that do continuously flash (not blink, but actually flash) It is not one of those cheap vests that have the bulb looking lights. It looks like it is actually an entire LED Strip. I see bicyclists wearing them too when I was driving in D.C. and I was able to see them far off, and I noted that I really had to get one because of how noticeable they were. I can't seem to find one. I found one at ***** sporting goods but I do not think that's it. If you have one of these, and you will know what I'm talking about if you do, will you let me know what the brand is and where to get it

I'm looking for what would be the best manufacturer and what things are best such as linear pull brakes vs. cantilever brakes. I don't just want a bike for recreation but also exercise not planning on any mountain biking mainly long distance and lots of up and down slopes.
