It's huge. Anyway to put it up on a wall and it not take over the room?

I think your best bet is a wall mount bike rack. If you have an apartment, you don't want to drill holes to mount a hook. The rack I'm talking can hold two bikes off of the floor. They sell them at bike shops for $80 or more but can be found used for between $25-40. I bought mine for $20 off Craigslist and it was in like new condition. I bought a great wall hook from Wal-mart that was less then 15 dollars. It is great because it keeps the bike as close to the wall as possible and it only takes 2 screws to install. Look for it in the home improvement section.

I recently purchased a free standing bike rack with capacity of 2 bikes from Lowes. All steel and it was $15.00. I even use it as a work stand.

A good choice is a Delta Michelangelo bike rack for a condo I have one & love it ! Free Standing !

i remember on the tv show Seinfeld, Jerry had a bike that he hung on a hook from the ceiling near a back wall.
