I have a three year old boy that is just getting started with riding a dirt bike. I want to find him a good pair of boots. Anyone know where to find boots his size. Along with riding gear as well.

I have used puncture resistant tyres, slime inner tubes and a slime strip (all at the same time!!) and I still got punctures.

Does anybody have any constructive suggestion?

i am 23 years old, i have the athletic type of body just not in shape right moment. i am trying to transition from driving my car to possibly riding a bicycle to work every day. It is about 11 miles away. i have never tried cycling or long distance biking at all. i obviously know how to ride a bike, so my question is just how realistic is me riding a bike to work everyday in the next month. can i persay, be riding my bike the first week of january? assuming the wether is appropriate, i live in california. the ride would have to be around 4am because i go in at 5am everyday. but i think the ride is long enough to get a nice work out and save some money in gas. so my question is not advise on what bike to get or equipment. my question is, is 11 miles a realistic commute everyday starting the first week of january?. i need all the help and advise i can get. will i get that tired on a bicycle? i repeat i have never traveled this long on a bike but i mean i am not overweight. thank you. :)

I am interested in purchasing one and having it custom made with a 3.7" tire or a 4.5" tire size. When commenting about it's performance can you tell me what size tires you are using. Also it is the "Pugsley Frameset"--100% Surly 4130 CroMoly steel. Main triangle double-butted. TIG-welded. Mabe you have a recomendation. I want to ride mostly on sand.

I have seen questions here about bicycle seats thin and uncomfortable, and I do know there are wider padded ones out there, but why not take it to the best possible...a puffy soft comfy chair 3 wheeler. Most adults would look silly on just a large version tricycle..but if it were a recliner, now thats a whole different thing, something people would be proud to be seen pedaling along on. In fact there would be MercedEZchair, and AcuRecline, ISchairZU, Bedtly.Chairdellac, Posha, ..just think someday even with side refrigerators and little wheel generated TV's. hmmm just a thought.

I heard it was some sort of fad to ride track backs on the street these days. Do people actually do this? I have seen enough keirin accidents to know why this a bad idea.

Was wondering if anyone can give me brand names of bikes made in America? I have a 5 year old who wants one for Christmas, and a husband who will only purchase one made in the U.S. (Have searched TREK and found out about the price difference...kind of panicked.)
Thanks for any information!

I want to invest in a good, sturdy bike but price is important to me. I imagine that I would be riding a few days a week for pleasure, and nothing too intense. The bike will need to be okay for light mountain trails, again nothing too intense. Any advice?

Hi there, I can get a bike through work but the only thing is the bike has to be bought through halfords, what would people suggest for me to get, I was thinking anywhere between £200 to £500. I want this bike for a good few years so dont mind spending up to my limit. I am not entirely sure what bike to go for, I quite like the Carrera Fury its well spec'd for the money but I think it might be a bit extreme for me as I want to use it for mainly on roads/canal paths and the occassional off road trip, so I was thinking the GT aggressor or Carrera Vulcan - there is also the subway 2 which would be ideal but not very good for off road! The only thing is these are a little less well spec'd so is it worth spending the extra cash on the Fury? Any other ideas are welcome also!
If anyone has any reccomendations I would gladly read them!
Thanks

i'm riding 70% road and 30% off road
its about 40km to go to a trail and go home
trail riding will be about 20km
and sometimes night road cycling with it
i dont have a roadies.
nevegal is really good for muddy off-road to me
but being riding so much on road
will it wear out very fast? nevegal is not cheap
cant possibly change every month
i know its hard to say how long it can last
just tell me around how much faster it will wear out compared to other knobby tires.
