I have seen questions here about bicycle seats thin and uncomfortable, and I do know there are wider padded ones out there, but why not take it to the best possible...a puffy soft comfy chair 3 wheeler. Most adults would look silly on just a large version tricycle..but if it were a recliner, now thats a whole different thing, something people would be proud to be seen pedaling along on. In fact there would be MercedEZchair, and AcuRecline, ISchairZU, Bedtly.Chairdellac, Posha, ..just think someday even with side refrigerators and little wheel generated TV's. hmmm just a thought.

Right on, dude! We have spent a lifetime conforming to what others think we should do with bicycle seats, car seats, crummy airplane seats, and other sitting devices. How about throwing out the aesthetics and worrying about what other people think is "cool" and be practical for a change? We have earned it. Let the 20-something, conform-at-all-cost, Wall Street worshiping crowd sit on the protologist-inspired butt holders while we ride in comfort for a change!

And remember, Al Gore invented the bicycle.

Sometimes a thinner saddle is more confortable than a wider one. It just depends on each sit bones. You can try a recumbent bike, which is kinda different from a standard bike.

They do, it's called a recumbent, there are plenty of them around. I have one gathering dust in my garage. The ride / comfort is truly plush. It's just not very fast. Look around the net for "recumbent bicycle"

What's the purpose of cycling if you're going to be lazy? May as well use the one you've got in your living room and throw away cycling altogether.
