im getting one and i want to know how it performs,how good of a bike is it and is it worth getting one?

I have one. Trek bikes are great, you won't regret it getting one, the welding of their frames is one of the bests in the bicycling market. Before you buy it try to look for one that has excellent extra components.
I think that if you buy a Trek bike you'll fall in love with it forever.

Trek is a good, reliable brand. Is it worth it? It depends on what you mean by worth it? You first have to make sure if fits you, if not you won't ride your bike. I would also check other brands to check if the fit is better or worse.
Usually, their hardtails are very good, but their full suspension bikes, while good, they're not that intresting to me. Except for the 08 EX, which seems pretty good. But the hardtails are a very good value, I think.

Trek makes alot of bikes. It depends on which one you buy. Some will be so-so entry level. Some will be top quality. You get what you pay for.

I have ridden their full suspension bike and if that is what you are looking for you will love it.
