I have some HFX, and they are good, but I think that the Avid are superior in modulation. I think that the difference between the ultimate and Juicy-7 aren't that much, so go for price.

Juicy 7's and the RLC unless all you do is downhill without much in the way of jumps and drops. I think the Ultimates are overpriced with minimal benefit over the Juicy's. Hayes makes good systems, but I'd go for a different model if you want to stick with them.

Sweet bike!

hfx-9 would be a poor choice. any of the avid choices would be best.

go for the fox float RLC.

HFX 9 are a super determination. they provide loads of preventing capability and automobile alter with Pad placed on. they have been around for a short mutually as now and although they have not got the 'on the fly' alter-ability new designs have, they're somewhat much less costly. The BB7 has gained some reliable comments(for a cable brake), yet will require extra upkeep to maintain overall performance point severe, the place because of the fact the HFX is pretty much extra wholesome and forget approximately till its time to alter the pads.
