Fortunately, for the Colts, the Raiders let some rookie QB with virtually no experience hand them the game.
After a string of weak performances against new england, San Diego, Kansas City and now the Raiders - should the Colts be allowed into the playoffs? I don't think they could beat the Dolphins in Miami at this point. Shouldn't there be a BCS type system and let Buffalo in instead?

"completely dominating 52 minutes of a ball game "
I still fail to see how they "dominated" the first 29:26 when the Patriots had a 7-6 lead.
The 30 yards of offense the Colts put up in the 3rd quarter was not "dominating". the Patriots strung together a 75 yard scoring drive as they were "dominated" in that 3rd qtr.
So, basically the Colts really "dominated" about 10-15 minutes of those 52 minutes you claim.

.Good point bags. The colts should not be alowed in the playoffs, as their whole season is plagued with controversy. Buffalo is a much better team, and should be ranked a lot higher than the colts, with "oblong head" manning having the luxury of playing in a dome and everything. Domes are for pu§§ies

Not very. They really need to get some of these injured players back or they are going to have trouble.
I got -1'ed to death when I said the Raiders should do exactly what they did. Run the ball right at rookies Jeff Charleston and Quinn Pittcock. I really got -1'ed when I said the Colts could lose the ball game for just this reason.
They also need to get Ryan Diem back as soon as possible. Charlie Johnson is horrible and the power running game completely collapses with him in the lineup.
All in all, the Colts are my pick to win the Championship but they really need to heal some of these guys up soon or their season is in trouble.
(oh, and I guess only in Patriot*** logic does completely dominating 52 minutes of a ball game with 6 starters out equate to a weak performance)

You are dumb. The colts played the Patriots btter than anyone else had til that point of the season, and they are 12-2. they are definitely one of the four best teams in the NFL right now, and the top 12 make the playoffs. How are the Colts any less deserving of the Playoffs than the Steelers or Giants? And both of these teams are going to the playoffs.

Raiders have been giving top teams trouble since week one this year. Justin Fargas has put up the 2nd most yards since week 7, only behind Ryan Grant. As for the other close victories, a win is a win, and they deserve whatever there seed is. Now when playoffs come around, I think an upset is bound to happen. my prediction is that the Jags or the Chargers will the the ones who upset the Colts.

I think the Colts have proven themselves in several games including Jacksonville (10-4 and have a good enough record to be leading the AFC West and North) and the Titans.
Now take a look at the Patriots.....They are chillin in the AFC East along with powerhouses Miami, NY Jets, and Buffalo. That is only one .500 team! Yes they beat the Colts in the dome, but the win over pitsburg was truly a homefield advantage thing.
The Colts do deserve to make it.
Bottom line: once Harrison gets back.......expect a lot of good things from that team.

Ummm no the BCS doesn't go off of how people win games it goes off of who teams beat. So if you applied the BCS system to the NFL, the colts would still be in the playoffs. The score never matters, only the win.

Yesterday's Colts win was about as impressive as the previous 3 or 4 Patriot wins, dummy.

Honestly, not very impressive at all. For a team that's supposedly #2 in all power rankings (I know they're practically meaningless), to be in a close match with one of the worst teams in the league for most of the game shows that they are not the same team without all those marquee players that are out with injury.

the colts have let off the gas and are cruising into the playoffs. they have been here before. they will do enough to win the rest of their games...but they are concentrating on the playoffs now. colts fans shouldnt be worried. they will step it up when they need to.
