i think he should be. he is the best player in this decade. he has the single season hits record, one which was set by george sisler long ago. he averages over 200 hits a year. plus, he plays gold glove defense. i cant name any other outfielder who is as fundamentaly sound as ichiro.

so, u know my opinion. whats ur opinion?

Ok, I know how to drive a stick and i've heard of the technique called "heel and toe" when driving. How is this technique accomplished when shifting and what is the advantage of it as opposed to shifting normally? Thanks!

I mean, he is a good player, but people who love Kobe seem to be absurdly obsessed about him. Why do people in blogs about other things just randomnly say "Kobe rocks" or "kobe sux." He isnt any better than lebron or Wade or Dirk or Duncan.

Kobe fans and haters just amaze me. If anyone can give me some good decent insight into this Kobe fan syndrome it would be appreciated.

Ok, if Jeff Gordon WASN'T racing so well, if he was just having an extremely bad season, would people still talk bad about him and call him gay, ect? The Gordon fans seems to think this is happening because the non-Gordon fans are jealous because he's winning and not their favorite driver. Do you really think it would make a difference if Gordon was dominating or not? Do you really think if he was 35th in points and having a horrible year that people would suddenly stop talking bad about Gordon?

Bad decisions, bad refs, bad Judges, premature stoppages, corruption, bad promotors, fighters not willing to engage instead fight at distance could damage the sport. Fighters asking for more money instead of fighting mandatory fights hurt the sport.

When I take it out and start fishing it wants to stay coiled up, after a while is straiten out though, I'd just like to have it straight right when I start fishing. I know they have products that are supposed to fix it up, but is there a way to do it myself?

Papelbon was seen slouched over in the Red Sux dugout, presumably with a severely bruised ego. Take that! LOL Go Yankees! 1978 here we go again!

Name the athlete and the country they represent. I'm a track athlete and I do running long jump. I would like to know the best long jumper in Olympics. Something to motivate myself. If possible, can someone name a good movie based on Track and Field.

Thanks for the help.

I am looking for a dry suit, or something of that nature, that only is like a pair of swim trunks--I do not need a whole suit. Any ideas of where you could get something like this, or if it even is made? Thanks!

I was watching the Yankees vs Red Sox game tonight. The situation of who was batting and who hit it doesn't matter.

There was a pop-fly by a batter, a low blooper that was easily caught by the 3rd baseman and thrown to 1st for the out.

I'm not sure why the ball was still thrown to 1st when the ball was caught. There was a runner at 3rd, though I'm not sure if there were runners at 1st or 2nd, nor the # of outs. I don't think the infield fly rule applies here because my understanding is that the umps would simply call a batter out on an easy pop-fly whether or not the ball is caught. Why is the ball still thrown to 1st in some situations on pop-ups (and the batter still runs to 1st to try to get the hit)?
