The simple answer is NO. Boxing has survived the Great Depression, two World Wars, the mob, the American Medical Association, crooked promoters and $55 pay per views and it's still here. People have been asking that same question ever since Joe Louis was the Heavyweight Champion.

Boxing will never die, this is something that fans of the UFC have been saying to get there fighting league more popular. The truth is boxing will never die and the UFC and all other MMA have a long way to go before they reach the level that boxing is at. Just compare the about of money involved with both to see the difference. Viewership, attendance, sponsors are all paying more money for boxing, sorry just the way it is. In order for boxing to die this money would need to disappear and it would take a hundred years for that to happen.

No, it won't. Boxing's been here for over a hundred years and it will stay for a hundred more. It may go into some sort of a slump, just like what's happening these days, but it will surely regain its glory sometime somewhere. It will definitely outlast that UFC thing.
