Hi there. My son's father (deceased so I cannot ask him!) was not a Jehovah but his family is. My son goes to preschool at a church where they put on a Christmas show. I have NO idea if it is ok to send this video to his Jehovah family or not. The idea is to watch my son, not to offend them. Is it ok to show them the vid? I never know what i can and cannot talk about!

What is life? What is the purpose of human life? Were we really made to live for few years and then die? Was earth, and life on earth, created simply to prove who goes to heaven?

Firstly I am not religious, I am intrigued any question about
religion gets a barrage of abuse. While I appreciate there are parts of religions people would disagree with. As I understand it suicide bombers etc not condoned in islam also regarding stoning are the family of victim allowed to ask for lesser punishment. Regarding Christianity what is wrong with "honour your mother and father" Love your neighbour" etc. Ref Creation vs Evolution. Does it really matter whatever happened its in the past should we not live for now and the future

Christians....I know I'm setting the stage for non-believers and/or racist to get in a jab here but it's worth it just to here the feed back of different Christians.

So heres the question(s)....
Do you believe in generational curses in todays world?
What if Christians marry-both have curses running through family line-how do you deal with that?

Do you suspect that you are dealing with any?

Me and my boyfriend told them to take it away because its too bright and we cant sleep at night since it shines into our window and they leave it on all night. But they said that they wont remove it because its their lawn. We tried closing the curtains but it still shines enough light into our room to cause a disturbance. What should we do to resolve this situation politely? Please no rude answers or i will report you as soon as i see you being rude thank you and have a nice day

IF YOU DON'T BELEIVE YOU WOULDN'T REALLY BE BOTHERED WITH MAKING FUN OF SOMETHING YOU IN YOU BOXED THINKING SAY DOESN'T EXIST .....GOD....SO TO SPEAK ABOUT GOD MERELY BRINGS HIM MORE INTO EXISTANCE THROUGH YOUR OWN MOUTHS.

Lets say you are a master geneticist. And one day you decide to create your very own life forms. You even decide to make them look like tiny version of yourself. (isn' that cute?) So you let them live and multiply in their own little box, but some of them just really aren't doing what you like them to do. So you pick out a special group of the good ones to kill all the bad ones. Somehow this just doesn't work. The bad ones far out number the good ones. You try and try and for some reason you just can't get them to do what you want.

Lets say you are also a parent. You have a loving son. And one day you look at your creatures and say. "Screw it I'm sick of trying to convince them". So you create two special cemetaries. One that will burn your creatures and another that will let them rest in peace. The bad ones are to be burned and the good ones are to be put to rest. So you send your son in to tell as many people as possible. He preaches and gets a few of them to listen. But since you want as many to listen as you possibly can, you decide to kill your son to send an even bigger message to all that had even heard of you son's short time.

My question is...Was any of this a good thing to do?

I honestly don't get it, so please enlighten me.

Everybody knows somebody who (according to Christian beliefs) will end up in hell. Assuming heaven and hell are true places, how can anybody feel happy to go to heaven, knowing that others burn for eternity?

I know, god will erase your memories, and you will have no knowledge of loved ones burning in hell. How can that be happiness? Having your loved ones erased from your brain?

Honestly, heaven sounds like the most selfish concept I have ever heard about.

How does the idea of a heaven please you? Seriously?

and for the atheist's and nay-sayers...

False Bible teachers would bring in heresies, have many followers, and cause others to reject God's Word (2 Peter 2:1-2). It is very common today to find people who reject the Bible out of hand because they have heard it misrepresented by a false teacher.

Men would mock the warning signs of the end of the age saying, These signs have always been around (2 Peter 3:3-4). The Bible even reveals their motivation, they love lust.

Men would sear their conscience so they could continue in sin (1 Timothy 4:2). The conscience is where God reveals right and wrong. Con means with and science means knowledge. Therefore we sin with knowledge when we ignore God's moral law and violate our own conscience.

Like my friend, for example...

He is a Satanic High Priest (I don't believe in that stuff).
He actually lives in a Mansion and has his own personal airplane!

He told me that he was going to place curses on certain people who are reporting Atheist comments and causeing them to be removed, on Yahoo Answers.

He said that he had demons under his Satanic Principality that would do his bidding and would "take care of things..."

I just said, "Whatever!" because I told him about a lot of my reasonable questions being reported, etc.. and because he knows I am an atheist and do not believe in things that are ridiculous - but he remains my good friend, nonetheless.

Do Christians really think that Satan actually tries to fight them or affect their lives?

Does not God's grace bring you to obedience to Him. He created one Church, the Catholic Church. In this season when we are all remembering what He has done for us let us commit to take the first step to come home and give up our pridefulness and surrender to His Word and His Church. At least, let us all pray that we be one just as He does.

Christians: Do you find as much humor in unbelievers close-mindedness as I do?

I am speaking of their incessant drivel about how close-minded we are as Christians because we don't want to hear things which clearly contradict what the Bible says to be correct. Yet, many turn around and are just as close-minded as they claim us to be.

As an aside, do you not also find it funny that they claim to know the Bible, and yet clearly show know functional knowledge of it?

Do you find these things as funny as I do?
