I'm the following:

I'm a fifteen year old lesbian, who often helps out, reading to children at the local library.
I'm a book worm and keep mostly to myself, and am on antidepressents.

Would I be welcome to be a part of your religion?

Yes and as you love reading, you'd love all the reading involved in converting to Judaism! :)

I really hope you are finding the anti depressants helpful, I'm aware they can take a few weeks to kick in.

Take care :)

Yes, you would be welcome in our religion, but you would need to have a parent's permission before you took any classes, joined a coven with adult members, or found an adult mentor.
I'm Wiccan, and we make no judgments about sexual orientation. Most Wiccans are big on reading and giving back to nature and our communities. Many Wiccans practice solitary, like I do. I only go to public rituals once in a great while, but I still find other pagans to talk to. I also struggle with major depression, Wiccans are just as susceptible to it as any other religion.
I encourage you to do some reading and find out if paganism is something you might like to learn more about. Good luck!

Yes, although any responsible teacher of our religion would not take you on as a student without the express permission of your parents, or until you turned 18 (or whatever the age of majority is in your part of the world). However, most Wiccans would be more than willing to give you recommendations for books and websites so that you could engage in individual study in the meantime.

Homosexuality is generally viewed in Wicca as a naturally occurring orientation, and medication as a vital help in dealing with various kinds of illnesses, including depression.

A person like yourself would be welcomed (with your parents permission of course) to any of the Pagan, or Neopagan studies. It would be up to you to choose exactly which path you would take, but anything you choose would be respected. Being a bookworm would be a great help as there is much more study involved. Any gathering you attended would probably be a small group, and accept you for who you are.
There are some Christian sects that would accept you.

Absolutely. I might ask that you have parent's permission to attend any functions, though.

We have lesbians, gays, bisexuals, straights - young and old in our Kindred. And I'm betting that a couple of us are on anti-depressants as well.

Added: paganism (almost all branches) and Wicca are very accepting.

MOST Christian denominations aren't. They say "God loves you but hates the sin of homosexual acts" and want you to change your nature.

Accepting churches I know of: Some Jewish temples, Unitarians, some Methodists, some Quakers, some Episcoplians, MCC

To me, the beauty of faith is knowing that you will be accepted as long as you are a good person. By the sounds of it, you’re absolutely lovely!

I hope you're able to get of the AD's as soon as you're well enough. :)

If you're thinking of Christianity, be very careful. They will all welcome you, but not all will accept your sexuality. They might make you hate yourself because of it, and try to change it (which is of course impossible). Do your research first: ask other homosexuals if they attend church, and which ones. If you can find a homosexual priest, even better.
However with Atheism you have absolutely nothing to worry about as every single person is welcome!

Sure.
We don't believe in universalism. We believe if the gods call you then so be it. So hey, if your willing to put in the time and the homework, jump right in.

Most religions look down on/shun gays and lesbians, but I believe that a religion is not just something that you can shop for as it would appear you are trying to do. Most require time and dedication and remember, they all think that the others are wrong so chose wisely about the things you tell people that you are.

This may seem incredibly out of place but to be 15 and calling yourself a lesbian may just be related to teenage angst.

We don't have a 'religion' dear one, we have a faith. Faith in God. God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. This is a 'faith in the person of Jesus Christ." Jesus went to the Cross for everyone. He died for our sins - everyone's! His arms are open to you........ 'Seek and ye shall find, knock and the door will be open to you.' A piece of advice: Don't ask from man/woman what you should be asking from God. God loves you. He's waiting for you to come to Him. Blessings to you.
