Doesn't Isaiah 14 talk about the King of Babylon? There have been several kings of Babylon. I believe the recent one who was King while Isaiah was writing it was Nebuchadnezzar.

I really love the church I have recently joined however I do not think the pastor like me. whenever i come into the church he just stares at me and whisper to the men. He's married and has been for 35 yrs. I wear long shirts and loose pants or dresses so my dress is not offensive. I also try to wear little make up since they are ame. I am really modest. When I walk up to give an offering I look down cause he used to run off the stage now I don't go up there any more cause i don't want to cause trouble. I went up the alter for special prayer and when I got back in the room none of the women would pray with me and kept passing over me until I was the last one.People tell me I am pretty all the time but I don't like to act like I am cause I want people to like me. One day I tried to attend a xmas fellowship at my church and felt uncomfortable I had to leave.People are friendly but I just don't understand why the pastor hates me he along w/another pastor who acts like I am the devil

I'm not talking about dollars and cents. Can you measure the true value of a human being? What criteria would you use? Are some people of higher value than others? How do you decide?

Believers will say, "Everyone is equal in God's eyes."

But that philosophy of equality is in fact not practiced by ALL believers, nor is it necessarily the thinking of all NON-believers.

ok I've thought about something like this before I mean...how do we know we exist

I'm atheist but sometimes I'm like ok we evolved but what did we evolve from....and how did that get here...how did the earth get here....big bang? how did all that get here....where is the end if there is even an end at all...what goes on after infinity....everything MUST end....

Isa. 22:19 - Shebna is described as having an "office" and a "station." An office, in order for it to be an office, has successors. In order for an earthly kingdom to last, a succession of representatives is required.

I have wondered why so many seem to have these expert attitudes? Sort of this ego in that they know more than anyone else If you don't have the answer to a question, you should ask a Mormon. Why do Mormons have to be experts at everything? I'm not saying all. but some are. FYI.

My brother is a minister, he and his wife are having problems..she got so mad one day and tore up this bible....what do you think will happen to her for doing this and what could make a person so mad that would make them to this....he asked why did she tear it up and her answer was why did she do this, and her reply was, I was mad at you....

In ancient Israel, it came to pass that a trader by the name of Abraham Com, did take unto himself a young wife by the name of Dot. And Dot Com was a comely woman, broad of shoulder and long of leg.

Abraham thought long and decided he would let Dot have her way with the drums. The drums rang out and were an immediate success. Abraham sold all the goods he had at the top price, without ever moving from his tent. But this success did arouse envy.

A man named Maccabia did secret himself inside Abraham's drum and was accused of insider trading. And the young man did take to Dot Com's trading as doth the greedy horsefly take to camel dung. They were called Nomadic Ecclesiastical Rich Dominican Siderites, or NERDS for short.

And lo, the land was so feverish with joy at the new riches and the deafening sound of drums, that no one noticed that the real riches were going to the drum maker, one Brother William of Gates, who bought up every drum company in the land. And indeed did insist on making drums that would work only with Brother Gates' drumheads and drumsticks.

Dot did say, "Oh, Abraham, what we have started is being taken over by others." And as Abraham looked out over the Bay of Ezekiel, or as it came to be known "eBay" he said, "we need a name that reflects what we are," and Dot replied, "Young Ambitious Hebrew Owner Operators."

"YAHOO", said Abraham. And that is how it all began, It wasn't Al Gore after all.
