It maybe something to do with the fact that only answer questions we know the answers to, rather than just answering to get points. We know what the scriptures tell us to do with our lives and in many situations our answers to questions both here and in the world are based on this knowledge.
Yes we do know alot - especially about our religion - for several reasons. Mainly for us our faith isn't just a Sunday thing - we attend church for 3 hours on a sunday and 2 hours of that is sunday school - where we study the things we believe (and no these aren't brainwashing sessions), we are then encourage to study the scriptures at home, and many of us have chosen to take religion classes, in the mornings before school or the evenings after school from when we turn 14 until we get married. But more importantly we are encouraged to pray and find out for ourselves the truth of the things which we are taugh.
ALso because of serving missions or working with the missionaries many of us have contact with many people of other faiths which is a very enlightening thing to do.

I really don't know what you're talking about so I guess I'm not an expert on Mormon-nonMormon relationships. LOL.
Seriously though, there are people with "expert attitudes" in every group. Just because you came across one or two that are that way, doesn't mean the whole group is.

We're not superior and I apologize if I have ever come across that way.
We just believe that there are some exciting truths which have been revealed to God's prophets in these days which are exciting.
Chief among those is that God has called a prophet to restore the pure gospel of Christ and also restore the authority of the priesthood. Also, God still speaks to men. Revelations, visions and all gifts of the Spirit are as relevant today as ever in history. Another jewel is that families can be together forever. Love doesn't die with this mortal frame.
Check it out for yourself, then you too, can be one of those Mormons who know...

Mormons believe in being well educated. They believe in searching for the truth.
If they see or hear something they will usually search it out and find out the truth about it.

From a bystander point of view, it would appear your reflection indicates an attitude of inferiority....subliminal of course...do you feel the need to overcompensate by attacking?

They don't know everything, and they know it. However, they are continually seeking that wisdom through their faith in God, and practicing their beliefs.
The fact that they DO know a little more (but just a little) than other Christian denominations, doesn't mean that they know all.

Sorry, I don't know how to answer your question.
I am stumped, because we usually only get questions about underwear or being god.
