I Tim. 3:2-4

2Now the overseer must be above reproach, the husband of but one wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, 3not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. 4He must manage his own family well

Iv been informed that every Jewish person is entitled to citizenship of Israel…

Judaism is the only religion I can think of that entitles you to citizenship to a state or province purely based on your beliefs……. (To my knowledge).

Why is this, and am I looking at Judaism all wrong, should I regard Jews as a race of people rather then a religion?

Disclaimer-
This will be one of several questions I will be asking about Israel and Judaism tonight, I apologies if any of my question come across as offensive as this is not my intention.

Does anyone who is knowledgeable of Christianity as to have read, studied and may be aware of details within your faith, - AND would be able to explain : Once Jesus had gone for interrogation before the SanHedrin, and He was asked whether He was the son of God, to whom He answered "YES"(He was),

Then, when turned over to the Romans for the crime of Blasphemy to whom he answered "He was the Son of man"

Why did he answer so differently to both of his interrogators?

What would he have meant to by the "Son of Man"?

What would the "Son of Man", have meant or represented?

Was there a reason, you would know why His answer to the same question was different, when given to either group?

Was it part of a strategy, needed, in order to manifest his martyrdom? Thusly fulfilling the prophecy that the Messiah had Come?

Or was he speaking metaphorically for a reason of a mystery to at some time be deciphered.

Thank you for any explanation to this contradiction.

What kind of disappoints me about most books and websites on both subjects that I have come across is that they entirely support one or the other. Also, when most of them speak about the other lot, they dive head first into a vitriolic eruption of accusation and criticism.

What I would like to see is something that Cites all the evidence ever used to support either claim and simply outline what evolutionists and creationist both say about it. Ideally, there should be no vitriolic accusations flung at the opposite camp, but the conclusion should be open ended to allow the reader/viewer/listener to decide for themselves. Does such a document exist? Is it possible to put one together, since anyone with any view on the matter would naturally lean in their preferred direction, and since two authors (one creationist, one evolutionist) taking the adversarial approach would be likely to argue too much to get any work done?

Modern scholars label old beliefs "mythology", i.e. Greek Mythology, Egyptian Mythology, etc. But existing religions also believe in supernatural things: god(s)/supreme being(s), afterlives, mythical stories, magic/miracles, sacrifices/korbans, rituals/prayings, etc. The elements are all the same. Even the economics of temples/churches/mosques are practically the same.

Of course current 6-billion believers prefer to be perceived as believers of truths instead believers of myths. But that's just for ego and political purpose. Taking these aside, why can't we call current religions "mythology"?

I love intellectual thoughts. So with all due respect, please give me reasoning that makes sense. We have enough of "but god is true", "you are just not enlightened yet", "you atheists go to hell", hard-to-eat biblical quotations, and the likes.

In my opinion their is no God and I am waiting for science to provide the answer to how we are all on this planet. Let me put it this way, just as most Christian people say that "God was always there" I say maybe "The earth was always there". This is for a collage thesis so please constructive answers only.

Do antagonists to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints really believe that a 14 year old uneducated farm boy decided to make up a cult, and wrote the Book of Mormon?

Imagine jesus spoke personally to you and asked you to do something that would challenge you immensley or even take you away from all that you know and are comfortable with.
Would your faith in his request make you do it or would you say no.This of course is a hypothetical question but be as honest as you feel you can be.
Explain your reasons.Thanks.

if god is a god of love, he will have no problem with those who love each other.

how can any christian - or indeed any believer - ignore this?
