'The Magdelen Sisters' should be in your video shop but the tv drama 'sinners' was more accurate if you can find it.
over 30,000 were involved up till 1996...how old were you at that time?
How many of your friends, you or your sister could have ended up here.
Abusing, raping, and ripping the babies from the arms of 30,000 girls up to just 10 years ago

Actually I judge a relgions by how it works in real life.
Chriaitinity is rife with things like homopbobia, girls denied jobs or education for posing nude which hurt nobody and made others happy, wrecking sex ed and where has paower responsible for horrible abuse like telling africans not to use condoms leading to massive over popualtion and streets full of homeless kids who only survive through child prostituion.
With islam being totally evil
Then comparing that with say wicca ie witch craft which chriaitinity says is evil yet has none of the history of inquisitions, witch burning, homopbia, sexaul repression, sexisim etc
And no dont believe in any god but look how the relgious operate.
The books dont mean **** you see how the system works in the real world and judge but that way.
Just like the heavey metal scene. Horror imagry yet they are nice as pie and peaceful in real life, unlike the relgious

Have another look at the links above... all the stuff like the witch burning, and inquisitions, and massacures of native americans, homophobia, relgious wars, terrorisim, sexaul repression, sexim, oppression of woemn and their sexaulity, treating porn stars as immoral and things like the magdelen laundries and spreading lies so people dont use comdoms especailly in the third worl and messing up and deniying kids sex ed and contraception
etc etc
thats all post new testament mate and how christianty works in practice not a theroy book...
Ie reality now compare that to wicca...
no sexsim, no problems with sex or nudity or homosexaulity as long as its nice and friendly and safe sex etc etc no history of inquisitions or anything like that

NO
ITS A DIRECT COMPARISION BETWEEN THE TWO...
Ie only one has centuries or torture and murder ie chrisitinity
whatever wicca is pagan or teen stuff... it has no history of all that sexsim, homopbiba, sexul repression etc.
And chritinity has no more credibility supernatural wise...
as said im an athiest... but wicca ethics seem best

You've certainly stumped the Christians with this one. All of a sudden (they tell us) the Old Testament doesn't count and it is considered unfair to ask questions about it. What a cop out.
And what about that pathetic little creep (Dirk D) who casually redefined "rape" as premarital sex and then had the cheek to say you are "not good" for mentioning the subject in the first place.

All of that was in the Old Testament. As I'm sure you've read here, Christians no longer live under the Law, and those don't apply. If you only use www.evilbible.com I'm sure you are getting a fairly skewed, non-contextual meaning.
Update: I never said the OT doesn't apply. And there weren't any Christians when those historical facts were written. Part of the Bible serves as history, so this is the history of the people. You are also taking some things out of context, so can't address without a lot of research and contextualizing.

why are taking this so hard on yourself, remember that the bible was written by men, you shouldn't be mad at the religion it's not its fault that some people that call themselves christians put it to bad use and use it as an excuse to do wrong things. Btw you are giving WICCA a bad reputation by critizing so much another religion and puting yours as the great example, because in this case you are behaving like those people who hate other religions, talk bad about them, and have no open mind and no tolerance for ohter people's beliefs. Instead of critizing christianity you should be talking about the good things of your religion, not comparing it to others.
ps: to psf11, Wicca is not a made up religion it comes from paganism which exists before chritianity.

Hi, as you can see, from the old laws you have written about
They were clearly written by man - men in particular. What they wrote really sucks, but in its day they probably thought it was the decent solution.
Authoritarian religions are just that.
If people want to experience angels, auras past life stuff etc all they have to do is ask for it sincerely. Time is quickening, it wont take long to receive personal experiences.
Don't bother griping about the past, live in the present and hold hope for the future.

Wow, lots of quotes from the OLD testemant. Its a good thing we have a new covenant. Show me some quotes that arent out of context in the NEW testemant.
Edit
I still dont see any scripture. Its easy to pull something out of the bible that no longer applies and use it as you will right.
And please, Im a Christian but I could very easily commit a crime and say that Buddah made me do it. These people dont represent Christianity.
Edit
This is how you promote wicca? By slamming other religions to build yours up? If wicca was so great you would have too, now would you? mate

Imagine how confused we'd be if we took everything out of context. Not just the things we choose to take and twist up for our own purposes or those which are manufactured and packed up like pretzels already for us but, everything. That would be well........you know? There are those who do this sort of thing all of the time and claim to be the most intelligent people on earth, do they not? Go figure.
Read the Bible in its proper context and you may be amazed at what you find (in a good way). If you can't do this simple logical thing then, maybe you should stop reading it and anything else you take out of context and read into.
Come back to it with an open heart if you are truly ready to study. Otherwise, you are obviously doing yourself more harm than good. There is no simpler solution I could give you. If you up and walk into a class already 7 months in progress you only have yourself to blame for being confused at all that's is going on. All things take some time and personal effort to be understood.
God is good. If you do your homework instead of letting other people dictate to you their own lack of knowledge and perverted thinking you may understand this conclusion. Don't let people draw your conclusions for you. Your realization of this fact is contingent upon your own honest and open hearted study of His word, and not some brainless nit wit web site's misinterpretation of it.

I'm not going to take the time to defend what people have done and do in the name of God-- you wouldn't listen anyway. You can cherry pick all day what you think doesn't qualify as moral. It should also be noted you pick Jewish traditions from the OLD testament and use them as arguments against Christianity. What I'll do is ask you to name some standard of morality YOU find moral and see if there aren't some others who claim parts of it to be immoral. By what standard are you judging Christianity?
***********EDIT******************
Hey-- @ss clown-- the rules YOU cited and are using to back your sorry excuse for an argument are from the Old Testament. As I suggested, many things have happened in the name of Christ. It doesn't mean they are sanctioned by Him.
*******EDIT************
And what was my FIRST comment --"I'm not going to take the time to defend what people have done and do in the name of God-- you wouldn't listen anyway"...
If this is all a defense of "wicca"-- a made up witch club for arrogant, angry teenagers to torment their parents, you REALLY must be kidding.
P.S. Get your own insults @SS CLOWN. And get a REAL religion and maybe you won't be such a jerk.

In Deuteronomy 22:28-29, they are referring to the sitcom Happy days, when Ralph Malph give Jonie her first orgasm by beating the hell out of Fonzie in a knife fight. Once you see the episode, you will surely agree that Deuteronomy 22:28-29 is referring to Jonie, Fonzie and Ralph Malph. The issue here is that while this was happening, where was Richie and Pottsy? This leads me to believe that Deuteronomy 22:28-29 may have been off his rocker when writing this.
But to be quite honest, the bible is full of stuff like this and I feel your pain for the constant inaccuracies and hypocrisies that the bible dishes out to people who really want to learn and be better people. Please dont take my Happy Days comment to heart, I was just trying to make you laugh and yet in the end of the answer I hope you know that I agree with you in that Deuteronomy 22:28-29 did not make sense.

We live under the New Covenant. As PFS said, you are taking Jewish laws from the Old Testament and applying them to Christianity.
The laws here were negated with Jesus's coming.
Your link is obviously skewed to a certain point of view..."evil Bible."
Forget about any laws from Deuteronomy or Leviticus concerning the things you named. Those laws no longer hold.

Those were the laws at that time.
The Old Testament was not written by God but by men that wrote of their time, how they lived and what happened...their history just as we have history books from modern times, how about public hangings etc that has happened in our time? Laws change as the human race changes.
God has his own set of laws, the 10 Commandments and we as humans have our own set of laws just as they did back then. We have changed them and reworded them to what they are today.
