Finally! people are using the word "evidence" in context with creation or evolution instead of "proof" There is no proof for either creation or evolution, only current observable sciences that we extrapolate to try and understand our beginnings.
Unfortunately, the more we discover the less we "know". New discoveries will back up one theory while disproving twenty or hundreds of others. The end result is, evolution is as much a theory and a religion as creationism.
Creationism is a religion because no matter how much you can scientifically explain, it will always come back to the question, "If God created everything, than where did God come from?" to which there is no scientific answer.
And no matter how much you scientifically explain evolution, it will always boil down to the final question, "If everything evolved, then where did the original matter (or energy) come from?" To which there is no factual, scientific answer. Both theories rely on faith at their core, which makes them both speculative and religions.

My answer to you is simple: your assumption that there should be such a site/book rests heavily on the assumption that the opposing sides are equal in some fundamental way.
Said another way, I'd bet you think some thinking, logical person with a good bit of science under her belt and a respect for religion has laid out the the pros and cons of each and has debated them....yes?
I see why you would expect that -- it is logical...unless all the evidence is on one side...in that case, the book you end up with is the book laying out the case for the side with the evidence and dismissing the other side as rubbish.
And that is the case with evolution. All the evidence is on the side of science and evolution -- the theory of evolution is so baked into the cake of science that it touches everything and no practicing scientist doubts its validity in the slightest.
My arrogant aside is to ask you to do an Internet search over the next few days at the leading universities in the US and overseas that teach science -- look for any mention of anything remotely creationist/IDish in flavor. No one in practicing science respects it enough to mention it -- it is simply irrelevant to science. The only place creationism matters in on sites like these, in church, and, unfortunately, in some American courts.

communicate origins is a superb advent and ingredients a superb dissection of creationist claims and precisely why they are incorrect as nicely as relating the evidence for evolution. the concern which you do not understand (and a important element for many persons not accepting evolution) is that it would not in fantastic condition smartly into the college room technological know-how test the place you may actual show the assumption, i.e. drop 2 distinctive sized balls and notice that they hit the floor on the comparable time. extra, there is extremely a lot of examine that has been achieved, yet maximum of it has a tendency to be extremely expert previous severe college ranges. Dawkin's modern e book "the super coach in the international" could be a superb reference. The hyperlinks under would desire to supplement others given to you. bear in mind, you will desire to verify the components reported and double verify claims that are made. Be skeptical and purpose and don't settle for something at face fee or in simple terms because of the fact it sounds sensible.

Does your school or library have something alled "Opposing Viewpoints"? In the USA it is on the web under Gale net. I don't know how you access it in the UK. Opposing Viewpoints provides articles on both sides of an issue. It is great for debate topics or opinion papers. I think you have to have a subscription to it, which is why I suggest going through a library for the web site. It was/is also in print.

Here is a great website that has a position in favor and a position against the theory of evolution (by different authors)....may not be exactly what you describe, but nonetheless does explain both sides pretty well, providing a more complete picture than you will usually find...

That is because from a scientific standpoint, there is only evidence for evolution. There is not scientific evidence for creationism, or else it would be a theory, not a hypothesis.
Evolution is based on science, and creationism is based on religion. you can't compare them in the same way.

Unless your definition of God does not include omnipotent, any evidence would be in line with creationism. That's one of the reasons it is not science. talkorigins.com is your best bet.
