My tummy is way too sensitive to digest some of these responses.
Some people simply can't get rid of the mental images of two adult men having sex together. How about picturing those two men cooking together, nursing each other when sick, taking walks together, going to the movies, paying bills, working out their problems, painting the walls of their apartment, doing laundry, etc? That IS love, that's not lust.
And that, my cuties, is what most homosexuals actually do. They love each other. Sex for them is just like for any hetero couple - a physical proof of love. What's lustful about that?!
I rest my case. I'm tired of such small-minded talks.
If I as a mere mortal am able to grasp the idea and love homosexuals for the people they are, then surely god - who is supposed to be at least 10 times more intense when it comes to emotions he gave me (following the ''in his image'' logics here) - can grasp it too. He obviously doesn't, therefore there is no god of love.

There is and always has been bigotry. Many people tend to insert it into whatever religion they practice. The scriptures of all religions were written by human beings, not God. No human can speak for God, or make decisions on what God means or what God wants. No one knows. You go through life and just do the best you can. Maybe someday we, the human race will learn that judging others is counter productive.

My children love each other. Yet most people would think it was a heinous crime if I told them it was okay for them to have sex with each other. It's just not right (for so many good and logical reasons).
We are all sons and daughters of God.
"Believers" do not ignore the supposed clash between the love of God and his teachings to us, to abstain from fornication ... It is only loving for a parent to teach their children what will enlighten and enlarge their souls, and to help them to live in a way that will create unity with the rest of humanity.
How would the earth revolve around the sun if she thought it was alright to go flying off into space? Should God tell Mother Earth to fly be free, to do whatever thing seems pleasant to her, at any given moment?
Where would we be if the universe had no laws, and if the planets, suns, moons, etc, did not obey universal laws?
EDIT: Still, there does seem to be a need for a loving God to reveal truths that will help people with same gender attraction to cope with this problem. We should all love each other, regardless of whatever sins we do. My intention is not to denigrate you. I hope you do know that you are a precious person in God's sight. I'm sorry if my exuberance to speak the truth masked the love that I feel for you, and which I know God feels for you. He really does love us all, with an abiding, unconditional love... but he teaches us truth because truth sets us free... both now and in eternity.

God is love and if two men decide to loved each other it doesn't mean that he loves them any less. He loves them and everyone else unconditionally but he has set some rules. I personally dont have a problem with gays but the bible says otherwise. We are all sinners and have our own issues but i don't know why people focus on homosexuality when the bible didn't.

There is an old saying that goes" God hates the sin, but loves the sinner." God loves us. God, via Jesus, gave His life to save us from the penalty of sin=Hell. God did this for US-ALL of us. Jesus didn't go to the cross just for some people, He went to the cross for all people. God may not like what a person does But that doesn't mean He doesn't love us. Jesus went to the cross to offer forgiveness to all people and for all sins. When a parent punishes a child when the child continually does something he/she is repeatedly warned and told not to do, doesn't mean the parent doesn't love the child. The parent might punish the child as a consequence for disobedience but in the long run it's for the child's good. Like parent to child-"look before you cross the street" If the child continually disregards the parents warning and the parent punishes the child, the punishment would be for the well being of the child. Maybe it would help prevent a future accident. God doesn't desire that a person conducts him/her self in an unnatural (gay) manner. It's fine, and God desires, that we respect, admire, like-love each other. But that love is not approving a sexual, gay, unnatural conduct. A boy may (abd should) love his dad. But that love doesn't mean he should desire sex with his dad. The word of God says as much. God may punish such a fault, but God still loves the person. The forgiven person needs to try to correct, quit the sin that he/she is committing. Gods forgiveness of sin isn't a license to go ahead and sin. Sin needs to be admitted, confessed, repented of, and turned from. Seek forgiveness. We all can be forgiven AND need to abandon our wrongful, sinful, conduct. God Bless You.

I am a committed Christian and I have no problem with this. But I think they need to think very seriously about how they express that love physically. The bible condemns fornication and adultery many times (I am told over 300) and it also condemns intimate physical activity between men - about 10 times I think but I haven't counted them recently.

True love can only be a right love. One can say I love children but to have sex with your neighbors 4 year old girl is wrong in any normal persons book. So even love to be real must be within certain parameters and God being righteous knows best. Plus even nature shows that the organs used in that kind of sex are for refuse not reproduction.

Fornication: Sex before marriage, adultery, bestiality, incest, and homosexuality are all serious sins against God. (Leviticus 18:6; Romans 1:26, 27; 1 Corinthians 6:9, 10)

Im not God and I think that is a F*g question. Most people twist every thing? Just because you do something gay doesnt mean God doesnt love you, It means you are sinning, and God still loves sinners, the same as he loves Rapeists, child molesters, and murders

The love God is talking about is like forgiveness and seeking peace, and doing acts of service for one another. It has nothing to do with sexual, or even romantic love.
