Yes. They preach another jesus and another gospel. They're to be accursed.
I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. Gal. 1:6-9
For to which of the angels did He ever say:
“ You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You”?
And again:
“ I will be to Him a Father,
And He shall be to Me a Son”? Heb. 1:5

I'm not sure what the Russellites' conscious intentions were and are, outside of developing a systematic theology that would match their preconceived false notions of God being too transcendent for His own good to become a man.
But, I do suspect that the primary reason for their systematic theology involving the personhood of Christ being identified with an archangel is due to their suppression of the truth in unrighteousness about their own spiritual condition. They seem to have this unconscious illusion that their own spiritual state is much healthier than what God clearly says it is in the Bible (i.e., "dead in trespasses and sins" according to Ephesians 2:1). Now, I ask you, who can get a dead man to respond to them? This is the same state concerning us with God, unless He raises us up and gives us new life through a spiritual rebirth! Fait accompli in Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit, right?
But they appear to be thinking, "Dead? Absolutely not. Rather, maybe I'm just somewhat spiritually sick without my religious system of works righteousness, which is really the cure to my ills." And, since they believe that the redemptive work of Christ is not all one needs to be rescued from eternal separation from God, due to this apparently false optimistic view of themselves, they don't seem to need only God, in the man Jesus, the Christ, God's Son, to completely do the work of obtaining their goal of knowing Him and salvation. So, anything less being the mediator, such as an archangel, fits fairly well in a systemtatic theology that supports this unfortunately misguided and deadly perception of themselves.

Despite what the questioner pretends, Jehovah's Witnesses do believe the bible to teach that Jesus Christ is the "one mediator" mentioned at 1 Timothy 2:5.
...(1 Timothy 2:5) . . .For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus
The questioner should perhaps consider John 8:44.
Incidentally, Jehovah's Witnesses use literally dozens of different legal and corporate entities, many of which have names similar to "Watchtower Society". Rather than to a corporation, beliefs and teachings are common to persons of the same religion, specifically to the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
When a questioner refuses to even use the actual and respectful name of a religion, it would seem to expose the questioner's lack of objectivity and lack of credibility.

So far what I have studied in the bible it only states that Jesus Christ is the only mediator between man and his father. Anyone else that state that claim is a impostor. Jesus was the only sacrificial lamb and high priest that could ever pay that price and that price has been paided by him and no one else.

This makes the Warchtower Society categorically belongs to the false cults. They cannot take the Bible at face value. In fact they are worst than the Roman Catholicisms allegorizations of the Bible. The RC still believes the doctrine of trinity. The doctrine of trinity is a theological term. It is the total outcome conclusion of all accumulated facts from Genesis to Revelation. The same with the doctrine of the Rapture or the doctrine of the divinity of Jesus Christ which we can never read in the Bible but its the shortest term for a doctrine that has the highest percentage of positive proofs.

Because Jesus IS Michael the archangel. The name Michael means *Who is like God* and only Christ Jesus can meet that description. That is one factual thing I was taught growing up in the Lutheran church.
Daniel 12:1-2
And during that time Michael will stand up, the great prince who is standing in behalf of the sons of your people. And there will certainly occur a time of distress such as has not been made to occur since there came to be a nation until that time. And during that time your people will escape, every one who is found written down in the book. 2.)Â And there will be many of those asleep in the ground of dust who will wake up, these to indefinitely lasting life and those to reproaches and to indefinitely lasting abhorrence.
If Jesus isn't also Michael, then who would you say He is? For there is no other "great prince" other than Jehovah Gods only perfect son, Christ Jesus.
My question to you is... when will you quit being one of Satans pawns and stop your endless persecution? You know nothing of Jehovahs Witnesses, yet you spew nothing but hate.
Rev. 18:4-5
And I heard another voice out of heaven say: “Get out of her, my people, if you do not want to share with her in her sins, and if you do not want to receive part of her plagues. 5.)Â For her sins have massed together clear up to heaven, and God has called her acts of injustice to mind.
I am proud be one of Jehovah's Witnesses

And yes, Jesus name before his human life was Michael. We do not know what Jehovah changed it to when he went back to heaven, but he gets a new name along with all who give up their human lives to go to heaven. Rev. 3:14, 2:17

According to you Jehovah is the mediator between men and Jehovah.
Yes cause what you believe is Jesus is Jehovah which is false.
then Jehovah is the mediator between men and Jehovah.
Which one sound more illogical, simple what you are telling that Jehovah is the mediator between Jehovah and Men.

Many religions on earth try to manipulate their flock by making themselves the 'door to heaven'.
If they can hide the fact that Christ is our righteous priest and the only mediator between man and God, they would not have power over their people, and their doctrine would die.
They are called 'cults' because they substitute their organization for the saving grace of Christ.
Some particular cult even holds the doctrine that Christ is merely the angel Michael, which means that there would be no saving grace of Christ.
