The Bible (Old and New Testaments) is a myth. The surface story is blatantly NOT to be given historical or literal interpretation but invites us to a deeper "story" of discovery. Please share your ideas.

I'm still figuring out what I beleive, so I am searching to find the truth. What I have found is that in every religious beleif there seems to be truth that has been idolized and boxed in to the point that the absolute truth has been diminished. I beleive that God or the Higher Power or Allah or Mohamed or Buddah etc. whatever people have grown up calling our inner strength, the power of good. Charma. All seem to have started out as the same, just different practices of Faith. If all people regardless of religion. were to search inside themselves and find that part of them that causes them to love and show kindness to everyone dispite where they come from or what they beleive, and truly see all others as living beings, all valuable and worthy of love, instead of seeing their mistakes and shortcommings (for we all have them), then there would be no need for war, Hearts would be healed and in time Love would win! Etherial? Utopian? What do you think?

Spiritually speaking, of course...

When did you first experience the art of dance?

Was it beautiful from the first moment you experienced it, or did it grow on you?
How do you practice?

And what of other dancers?
Do you find you enjoy the many different forms? Are there any forms you dislike?

((((((( cosmic dancing )))))))

how bad would it suck to be an atheist your whole life only to find out when you die that god exists and tried repeadidly to draw you away from hell, but your determination to to be closed hearted has led to your own ETERNAL damnation. Huh, how bad would that suck?

To be their Messiah, when the SanHedrin was also Hebrew - what had they against the Messiah being Jesus.

Why would they doubt him, and reject him, when all along, He did good things for the sake of Man. Even to be sacrificed, for Man's sake . .

What proof - against Jesus, being the Messiah they had waited for, and had been been in the Prophecies mentioned to arrive to Them, - did they rely upon to refuse Him, as The ONE expected?

What exactly had they against this fine Man, whose ministry was one of Love, Civility and Salvation?

Well, Miss Farauradork Allah isn't a real god it is a fake one based off the true God Jesus Christ. Don't think I don't know what I'm talking about I'm alot smarter than some dumb 14 year old muslim girl. The bible is also the real thing, anything Muslim like it is what some people over in Arabia made up. The Bible is the truth word of God, God breathed. You won't get anything like that in any religon. So next time you come upon a question like 9/11 maybe you should look up the facts before you try preaching to others.

If, so I have two verses I would like to know what you think about:

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” Genesis 1:26

Who knows the spirit of the sons of men, which goes upward, and the spirit of the animal, which goes down to the earth? Ecclesiastes 3:21

If we evolved from animals, then why are given dominion over them?

If the spirits of animals and men go to different places, then did our spirits also evolve?

If you believe we came from animals (which means their was death before sin), then why do you need Jesus?

And if He doesn't know all of our future actions, wouldn't that mean that He is not omniscient?

In my previous questions I asked if I should view Jews as a race of people or as a religion.

I can see with the hindsight of European history the dangers and sinister context of regarding Jew as a “race” of people, but several of the comments regarding has lead me to think about this notion deeper.

As pointed out to me someone can convert to Judaism (Ruth, in the bible…..ironically the name of my ex girlfriend who was Jewish and still one of my best friends who is probably reasonable for me even contemplation half the questions iv asked)

But from further reading there dose seem to be the over whelming feeling that to be “truly Jewish” your mother should be Jewish. This would lean much more to the context/structure of a race rather then a religion?

Disclaimer-
This will be one of several questions I will be asking about Israel and Judaism tonight, I apologies if any of my question come across as offensive as this is not my intention.

This just popped into my head. Although I personally am not particularly religious myself I thought it interesting that billions of people believe God spoke to "prophets" long ago. Why is it that today, when people claim that God speaks to them, they are either condemned as crazy or heritics?
