So I recieved this msg a few months ago and I just checked my messages today. I recieved it from some lady in Yahoo answers. Errr I'm a bit confused on what she was trying to tell me by stating that Islam was "fake" religion o and I just wanted to know your opinions on this message thats all.

Well, Miss Farauradork Allah isn't a real god it is a fake one based off the true God Jesus Christ. Don't think I don't know what I'm talking about I'm alot smarter than some dumb 14 year old muslim girl. The bible is also the real thing, anything Muslim like it is what some people over in Arabia made up. The Bible is the truth word of God, God breathed. You won't get anything like that in any religon. So next time you come upon a question like 9/11 maybe you should look up the facts before you try preaching to others.

Shame on that person, that was a very rude thing to do. Not all Christians are like her. Please try to forgive her. I've gotten similar messages from Muslims and Atheists, so it's everywhere.

The Church of Christ would definitely accept you. Christianity is a personal religion and cannot be inherited from one's parents anyway. Judging from the number of both Muslims and Catholics in the Philippines, I'm sure that you have a legal right to choose your religion there. The scariest thing to consider for women coming from an "oppressed" background and living in a free country is that sometimes it is not the law that matters. Sometimes women die in "honor killings" though all of their friends said, "What are you afraid of? This is free country." Only you can judge whether this is risk in your case. If so, that doesn't mean you have to be intimidated into staying Muslim. You can arrange for your safety before "coming out," or be willing to risk it. Most of all, choose a religion because you believe it to be TRUE not because you want more social freedom OR because you are afraid. We're talking about God and eternity here. Truth is more important than anything.

The email gave me a headache and I couldn't make head nor tail of it quite frankly. It sounded as though the writer was a bigot, all too eager to jump down somebodies throat and you happened to be the nearest possible victim...
They have issues...and they need to go back to school and learn basic grammar. Maybe I'm just stupid...I don't know...but I honestly can understand what the heck she's on about...
Ignore her. If you made someone that silly and rude mad, you must be doing something right....

While her comments are based on her intolerance of others beliefs and she certainly is poorly educated please remind yourself that without people like the writer we would never know that some people do not agree with us and that makes for a more interesting world. Try and imagine her upbringing and lack of education not to mention bad manners and wish her a better future.
