People in this day and age will worship a rockstar. Can you imagine how many will worship him when he snaps his fingers and makes lightning come down from the heavens.

that is also a very good point. he will definately have all the atheists, and lots of converts worshiping him.

Yes we are living in the last days. The Bible describes the events and conditions that mark this significant time period. The SIGN is a composite one made up of many evidences.
The various aspects of this sign are recorded at Matthew chapter 24,25 Mark13 Luke21; There are further details at 2 TIMOTHY 3:1-5, 2Peter 3;3,4 AND Revelation 6:1-8
I AM THRILLED!!!!!!!!!
Because as is stated in Matthew 25:31,32,46 When the Son of Man arrives in His glory and all the angles with Him , then He will sit down on His glorious throne . All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate the sheep from the goats. And these who have failed to recognize The Christ and His spiritual Kingdom will depart into an everlasting cutting off. BUT, the righteous ones into everlasting life!
SO, All wickedness, evil, suffering disease and, death Will be done away with!
I pray I am there in the New Earth, Governed by Christs New Heavenly Kingdom.

We are living in the last generation before Christ's Second Advent. It began in 1948 when Israel became a nation again. The bible tells us of this last generation. Alot of bible prophesy comes to pass during this "Generation of the Fig tree".Look it up.In the Bible a generation is described as 40 years, and as 70 years, and also as 120 years.Forty has pasted.Seventy is fast approaching!Seventy in Biblical numerics means governmental perfection. When Christ is here His government will be perfect.
It also states that no one will know when the end will come. That it will come as a thief in the night. However we are told that we can discern the season before He returns. It is the season of the locust, May through September. It is a five month period of time when satan as the anti-christ will be present here on Earth. He's coming claiming to be Christ. "Anti" in the Greek means "instead of".He will perform many miracles in the sight of man. And he will deceive, and mis-lead millions into believing that he is the True Christ. People in this day and age will worship a rockstar. Can you imagine how many will worship him when he snaps his fingers and makes lightning come down from the heavens. He's not flesh and blood,he's supernatural. He's the prince of the air,and God allowed him to have power over the Earth. Why? To see if he could deceive you, as he attemped to deceive Christ even.
We are also told that God and His angels will fight the final battle you speak of. Yes, Armageddon spoken of in Revelation will be fought, and won by God and His Heavenly Host.
Yes, I agree we are living in the most exciting time since Christ walked the Earth. Many of the prophets wanted to live during this time, so they could stand up against the anti-christ which is prophesied of in the Bible. Those who stand up against him will be delivered up to him. By close friends, or family who will believe that he is Christ.
The truth is stranger than fiction, have you read it.Reading the Bible is like reading tomorrow's newspaper. It's all there, for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.

Fear is a powerful tool to direct people in a particular direction. In order to help channel people into a particular direction, Christianity employs various tactics to silence any objections to it's tenets.
For example, if people can be made afraid to question the teachings of a religious hierarchy, that religion can more easily become entrenched into the minds of a society. This religion in turn will gain influence and power over aspects of that society outside the spiritual arena.
Christians will often attempt to claim that fear isn't employed to sway the minds of "unbelievers".
They'll claim that it's the "love" of God for all people that brings the skeptical mind into the flock of God's followers. After all, everyone knows that Jesus is Love.
This fluffy, lollipop sucking, teddy bear mentally is soon disposed of when the Bible is actually cracked open and read.
It's interesting to note that Christians have been hollering we are in the last days since they were first established as a religious group. Could this just be another formulated scare tactic? I believe so.

Cool site! Yes, we are in the last days!

Men would mock the warning signs of the end of the age saying, These signs have always been around (2 Peter 3:3-4). The Bible even reveals their motivation, they love lust.

Here are the thing that must come to pass before Christ's second coming:
-Israel get her land back-done
-it will be like it was in Sodom and Gomorrah-yep
-People will be like a god to themselves-yes
-the gospel will be spread to all the world-Not sure of this but almost?
It will be soon-our life time, or our kids? My husbands grandmother "knew things" and she thought in my husbands generation...

We are living in the last days and it is exciting. Soon Jehovah will bring an end to all wickedness that we see in the world today and restore the earth back to the original paradise he intended in the Garden of Eden.

It is human vanity to want to believe that the world will not continue for thousands (or millions) of years after their death. Unfortunately, such a worldview does not lead people to strive to make the world a better place for future generations.

Are we Living in the End Times?

What will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age? This was a question the disciples asked Jesus.
Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ, and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains. (Matthew 24:4-8)
Signs
Many will go here and there to increase knowledge. (Daniel 12:4) Right now technology increased so quick every thing in our houses is out dated in about half a year. We have so much knowledge available through the Internet; we will never be able to view it all on just one subject.
On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. (Zechariah 12:3) Just about everyone in the world is now against Israel. No one is able to destroy Israel once they become a nation again.
They will say, "This land that was laid waste has become like the garden of Eden; the cities that were lying in ruins, desolate and destroyed, are now fortified and inhabited." (Ezekiel 36:35) Before Israel came back to their promised land, the land was desolate. Now they are one of the biggest traders in the world in produce. Israel has rebuilt the entire city that was ruins. Israel has everything they need to rebuild the temple right now.
He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of Israel; he will assemble the scattered people of Judah from the four quarters of the earth. (Isaiah 11:12) This prophecy has already happened. Israel was scattered in 70AD. Now Israel has become a nation again.
He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name. (Revelation 13:15) this prophecy can now take place. We now have computers that can keep track of everyone in the world. The world is already trying to form a one world government and currency.
Their bodies will lie in the street of the great city, which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. For three and a half days men from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial. (Revelation 11:8-9) Now this prophecy can happen also. Everyone can now watch these people on TV. We now have satellites that can show everyone in the world what is happening in a single place.
They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. (Luke 21:24) The time of the gentiles was 70A.D. until June 7, 1967. The 1967-generation is the generation that will see the Lord return. The bible says, "Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. (Matthew 24:32-34) The fig tree is the symbol of Israel. The leaves coming out of the fig tree is the Jews becoming a nation again. Summer is referring to the days when Jesus will come back for the second time. The generation that sees this prophecy happen will not pass away until the Lord returns.
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them. (2 Timothy 3:1-5) This prophecy is happening today. This describes just about everyone today.
Friend we are living in the end times right now. If you were to die today would you go to heaven or hell? If Jesus were to come back tonight would you already be right with him?
